Anon there was one in Australia just recently and she has friends who can protect her in any case. She's still stuck in her Japan dreams to this day though, and people there are autistic so she has no friends there sadly.

I relate that so much when it comes to group stuff. Especially in uni. People in the seminar would not ask questions or interact with the teacher. So I would have to take the initiative. Same went for critiquing writing. I ended submitting something because of a lack of commitment and it shot down my motivation a ton. My partner got me out of it though.
