She lose her debut buff quite quickly.>Kanae: 11947->11917>30 viewer differenceKanae is a goddamn rock >Kenmochi:26432 (4) ->15675 (7)He streamed too much in October RIP
>>12355982How about Lain? The only one with girl buff in the group
>>12355982Ib's MC numbers were technically an 'event', he returned to MC to build a grandiose project for a friend and it turned into pretty intimate zatsudan series with his viewers. It was never his average behavior.>LeosI feel like the only person on /#/ who said that Leos was not going to ever hang onto his debut numbers. In his beginning he slotted himself as an endurance streamer and that fucking tanks CCV. Why watch 22 hrs of gameplay from someone you barely know? He then dropped this and does 'variety'. Meanwhile Lauren has stuck with FPS as his main thing.>KanaeNothing can stop him, people begged him to take a vacation and he won't.>KenmochiHe was spamming kusoge instead of zatsudan this month. Hence the drop. The "idol" concert for Nijisanji 4th anni is going to feature some of these guys so expect a drop in stream frequency/length in the winter months.

>>12356179The thing that surprises me the most about Nijimale SCs every time is how girthy they are.The yen to SC # ratio is pretty retarded. It means not that many fans are even donating, but the ones donating are dropping big bucks every SC.Like Kson got 14k SCs for 11 mil yen, sounds about right. Kuzuha gets 8 mil yen with just 5.4k SCs, Kaida gets 7 mil yen with just 2.1k SCs?Axia gets almost 6 mil with 1.7k SCs and beats Lamy despite her having literally 7k more total SCs?How big are these akasupas wtf?
>>12356457I forgot that people who actually know Nijisanji numbers aren't worth listening to over shitposters, almost forgot what board this is
>>12356484Don't underestimate the power of fujos. They are willing to donate more akasupa
>>12356142She has the worst numbers in Edengumi.>>12356151Thanks for the insight.I think most people knew there was no way Leos was going to be in the Kuzuha club of 15k+ CCV, but I think most expected him to end up being in the Kagami/Yashiro tier. He had a pretty incredible first 2 weeks.>He was spamming kusogeI know what you mean, but using "spam" for 7 streams is pretty funny.>The "idol" concert for Nijisanji 4th anniShould be pretty huge numbers for the free section if it features the popular Nijimales
>>12356484You can call it bots or you can wake up to the fact that female simps in Japan have deep, deep wallets. Spending huge is ingrained in JP female otaku culture. Aside from Ansta fujo spending, in this stream, she went through her listeners itabags, and there were several Nijiguy bags that easily can cost over 1000 USD to make.
>>12356568Naw not calling it bots, just dumbfounded by the ratio because it's pretty crazy, especially compared to Holo's SC culture.
>>12355239Mito is no longer a 5-digits chuuba. The numbers are really bad for Nijisanji this October. Based on >>12354954, they should incline on November, but who knows, Sony might shaft their CCVs.
>>12356462All of HoloEN hit all time low SC except for IRyS. Except for Elira (b-day) and Pomu all NijiEN declined too compared last month, hitting all time low except Selen.
>>12356699For HoloEN, it's probably because of too many collabs. There's been an absurd amount this month. There also haven't been too many celebration streams this month right? Only Irys IIRC.
>>12356561It is a 2 day event, 1/22 featuring the girls, and 1/23 featuring the boys.>Toko, Yorumi, Deron, Shiina, Mito, Uiha, Sasaki, Tomoe>Akina, Shellin, Kanae, Yumeoi, Kenmochi, Yashiro, Hayato, KouEvery person is getting a special 3D outfit for it. Already bracing for 'manjisanji' spam because there is no way Day 1 will beat Day 2. I can see the free portion for both days getting huge numbers because of the intrigue of new outfits but I'm not expecting anything record breaking. And some may be locked behind paywall.
>>12356568>>12356607>just dumbfounded by the ratioyou know “host clubs” where Japanese women blow tthousand of bucks in a single night for some male undivided attention? Vtubers for this audience is the cheaper at home option
prediction for the month of November, who is going to win and by how much?
>”this does not slip”That will never cease to be funny
>>12356755I think you also underestimate the male fans. Don't Nijimales have more male fans than female? Male fans can splurge as much as female fans, too!
>>12356751>Already bracing for 'manjisanji' spam because there is no way Day 1 will beat Day 2.Oof yup this isn't even fair, shades of AR live day 1 vs day 2.Then again, most people said the same for Initial Step vs Nijirock and Initial Step ended up beating Nijirock by a wide margin, so who knows?
>>12356817They do but Axia has said his ratio is almost 50:50 and there is no way Kaida has more men watching him.
>>12356817>Don't Nijimales have more male fans than female?I mean this is reflected from the low # of SCs right? Most of their regular viewerbase (male) aren't SCing, it's the smaller female section that's donating big fat akasupas and that's making up the difference.
>>12356568I don't want to know how much Suisei and Toko spent for Ensta...
>>12355109still impressive imo considering his subs compared to gura/mori
>>12356774Uh, in terms of what metric? If we're talking about "Peak CCV", myth outfits (GURA) stands a good chance to being top for the month, depending on when she does it. If she's last, then expect really big numbers. If she's 1st or 2nd, then expect good numbers, but not as big. If you mean "Winners of the day", it SHOULD be more even this month, 17-9-3 for Hololive-Niji-(Indie/Merise) is a completely-in-the-dark shot.
>>12356882Oh it is definitely impressive. It is still funny though.
>>12356819Those people had no idea what they were talking about. Despite initial step members having less views on stream they are "the initial step" of Nijisanji, every fan of the JP side knows them well. As a whole they're far more relevant than say, Kyoko or Yumeoi. Initial step was also hyped up far more than Nijirock. There were collab streams, twitcast, a new original song, and more subway ads.
>>123568656 digits a year between Gacha and merch, no question.
>>12356898that was surprisingly detailed. it seems pretty reasonable too.
>>12356882It’s impressive regardless but there is absolute no direct proportional correlation between subs and song speed to 1M otherwise other Calli songs would be as fast, and Kuzuha’s Contrail wouldn’t perform like it did
>>12356898>MeriseThere is so far, no VS planned for November, rank is resetting so there won't be any last-race to hold rank that gives Hal and Reid those large CCV in November. Unless there is more Merise planning streams, I can't see them showing up much.
>>12356961Aren't those apex guy always hold tournament after the rank reset?
Although seeing kuzuniggers getting BTFO makes me feel so good~, I still would fuck his bussy desu~
>>12356999Hal has had like 4 customs in October and no one discussed them here, so it's irrelevant. VSaikyou announcement, VCC participation, and CR Cup participation are his big number generating streams aside from last minute rank.
>>12356484>Like Kson got 14k SCs for 11 mil yen, sounds about right. You're looking at this the wrong way though, Coco was always the odd one out with her supacha culture. Rainbows, toilet flushing, auroras, any gimmick SC you can think of originated from Kiryukai and those drive the count way up. Elsewhere a normal fan would just throw a single akasupa a stream but on Coco's and now kson's they get creative.
>>12356882If we just ignore subcounts for a moment and just look at the events he's been in and the exposure he's been getting, Kuzuha is undeniably popular as fuck in Japan, especially to a non-vtuber following audience. He's invited to play Among Us and Apex with utaites, 3D FPS streamers, seiyuus, e-celebs....etc, and all this exposure to "outsiders" spreads his name outside of the vtuber ecosystem. For his 1 mil celebratory tweet for example, there were a few famous JP people (actors, singers, seiyuus with 1 mil twitter follower+) congratulating him and you wouldn't expect these people to ever interact with vtubers. It won't translate into his own CCV increasing significantly since these people were never watching vtubers to begin with, but for stuff like song views? They'll give it a click if the seiyuu they follow retweets it or if their favourite utaite mixed the song and is promoting it (Soraru has 1.5mil twitter followers).Fuck the google trends schizo, but I don't think it's surprising if Kuzuha is more popular in Japan than Pekora, at least to your average Japanese person who uses the internet. He crosses into multiple other big JOP fandoms and circles and gets his name out there. tl;dr JOP casuals probably know Kuzuha more than any other vtuber because he's everywhere. They don't sub since they don't watch streams, but they know who he is.
>>12357029Hal won last Thursday with his custom and it was all over this thread.... It's rare but he can pull it out with the right members
>>12357182>among us/ApexHis friends invited him. VCC likes to mix vtubers with celebs and pro esportsfags so he will always be there. Soraru retweeted his song because he was the one who mixed it. Who again, is his friend. In fact a lot of the popular people he plays with have been doing this for over a yearIf you're a nip and are aware of vtubers of course you can point him out and name him, but it doesn't mean they will travel to his channel and listen to his 4 songs or watch his streams/donate.

>>12357261When they graduate they'll join holo aren't they? (The female one) Thanks for the training any color!
>>12357445>has a hot wife and a newborn baby>does this to his healthWhy.
>>12357553>join holoOnly if they open their auditions. JP6 is still nowhere in sight
>>12357454No, Giken and Holo_data use mean average and they use average views of stream, not peak.Just look at Ayame:>69k avg, 86 peak, 1 streamhttps://holo.poi.cat/stream/N0mQHlL7Qo4Matches up perfectly.Look at Marine:>32k avg, 75k peak, 2 streamshttps://holo.poi.cat/stream/WbmkFEmPhOQhttps://holo.poi.cat/stream/Wgb3Az8w-Pw27342+35464 = 31403A bit off, but he's definitely not using peaks, they're using the average of the stream.Kuzuha's 26k is his peak median. He has had too many sub-20k streams this month to have an average that high.
I know we've hit a new arc and all after a good and satisfying defeat of Kuzuha's reign and all, but all this news about new debuts gets me worried sometimes especially Anykara's business practice. They're really gonna ring out all the Japanese money from their ventures. Like, mix/max stuff.
>>12357573It will be funny to see some of these debuts go to Hololive instead.
>>12357573They aren't even true debuts, they will graduate and aren't obligated to stay at nijisanji this is literally a public school for aspiring vtubers. They could go to Holo or go indie even.
>>12357504Obviously they need training to be a good vtuber, but I wonder what do they even show there? If it's technical stuff it's not something audience can really see anyway, singing and dancing practice is also limited in what can be shown, and practicing how to be engaging to the audience breaks the illusion that it's genuine which is really bad if you want fans. What skills can they teach and show in this channel?
>>12357261>AnyColor hitting it out of the park again with another creative ventureThis is going to be game-changing, they're replicating the idol road formula of watching your favourite grow and evolve as the months go by and applying it in a smart way to streamers. Cover would really be dead in the water with all their failed multimedia crap if not for the EN market propping up their views.
>>12357599They'll teach them basic of Minecraft and Apex
>>12357573>after a good and satisfying defeat of Kuzuha's reign and allI mean, he lost to Calligula KING by 8 mins lol.KING lost to Reflect by more than an hour and ended up reaching 10 mil 20 days faster. The factors that led to KING catching up are present for Kuzuha's Vampire too (only on youtube and no topic vers, popular song from popular vtuber...etc)It's still anyone's game in the race to 10 mil, his views are just going to be concentrated in JP hours rather than spread out like Calligula.
>>12357261Separated at birth
>>12357663why?
>>12356819You also got to remember the hidden third block of nijifans, the hipsters. They only show up for the first of things, 3D debuts, the first concert like Initial Step etc while Nijirock is now old hat.
>>12357598if you're a girl and you can potentially join Hololive, why would you not? there are figuratively no downsides
>>12357602Why do you try so hard.
>>12357739"Potentially"
>>12357599>Obviously they need training to be a good vtuberOr, you can be like Cover and just throw them into the field and go trial by fire LMAO.Mori, Ina, and Sana barely had any experience with vtubing or even streaming. I guess Gura's 84 lifetime hours on Twitch is some experience?Going so tryhard with an academy and training might be too much, especially since they aren't even guaranteed to stay and I doubt Anycolor will let them keep their characters.
>>12357739Except for the fact, going into Hololive is pretty competitive. Gen 5 had a semi pro FPS player, a daughter of a yakuza member, a real idol and an old popular vtuber from upd8. Just graduating from a vtuber academy isn't enough for a profile lol.
>>12357765They will not keep their characters, hence the plain design. They will all graduate.
>>12357788I just realized that they will graduate in a literal sense
>>12357739>just join hololive 4head, not like there's only been 5 open spots in the past 1.5 years.
>>12357757>>12357771well, there's no way in hell the girls in the group won't apply for hololive. getting accepted is another thing
>>12357739It depends on optics. If they never say that they love Niji and never get to collab with relatively a midtier Niji and never show that much Niji pandering then MAYBE they can audition for HoloJP IF there was an opening at the moment that they graduate. Lulu and Gibara will never get into Hololive even if they wanted to. They will get a lot if hate.
>>12357822Except Hololive has Nijisanji watchers you retarded tribalist
>>12357819depends how popular they get during their trial, if they can become a decent mid or low mid in nijisan they might chose that over the potential risk of never getting into hololive. If you "have" your own sc-daddies why risk it?
>>12357765Cover does have the "idol journey" going for them. You are supposed to route for them and support them.
>>12357822It's an open secret that Luna is a former Niji liver lolMany Holos have also expressed being Nijifags too and looking up to them, but joined Hololive instead. You can say that a fresh Nijiacademy graduate joining Hololive feels like biting the hand that fed you, but their new fans will greatly overwhelm the hate from whatever fridge tribalist nijifags anyways.
>>12357819Yeah. I think Shuba mentioned that the acceptance rate for Gen 5 was something like 1:1200. And that was way before Hololive pretty much became #1 worldwide (Japan of course is still Niji territory). At this, point getting in without any sort of inside connection is going to be the equivalent of winning the lottery. It's the reason why I'm slightly miffed that Aloe kinda wasted a slot. Could you imagine what the #6 choice must feel?
>>12357599I don't really know. I identified all the same problems you had and had assumed that the academy would just be some kind of 6 month part time thing behind the scenes in order to farm up better debut candidates but broadcasting this seems to be missing the point of a chuuba and making it feel more like a product molded by the company with even a pre-planned growth arc included instead of helping and cheering on someone working towards their dreams. It also asks the questions, how samey will these candidates end up? Will the audience agree with the 'training' or whatever they plan to display? If someone catches on, what happens when they graduate, will they be able to tell fans that they're becoming someone else? I can think of one possibly good avenue to take this though, they use this temporary channel and avatar in order to plan out and crowd source ideas for their eventual proper debut, including model design. That'll really get people locked in with 'their' chuuba.
>>12357867Doesn't every corpo vtuber have this to some extent.
>>12357765>Going so tryhard with an academy and training might be too muchIt reminds me a lot of “coding academia” and “programming bootcamps”. Certain things can’t be taught, they’re more in an “apprenticeship” system where the experienced ones teach the tricks to the newcomers *in the field*. Hololive streams used to be scuffed as fuck with girls failing miserably to, for instance, set their OBS properly or to balance their audio levels. A few collabs and off collabs and most of the girls got their shit together now>except for Kiara, FFS, fix your damn audio setting dumb chicken!Who of the gen5 is really good with audio settings by virtue of being a wannabe DJ? Nene? Anyway, and that’s how tying an onion to your belt became the new fashion
>>12357836Retard. It's one thing to say that younlkve your company and that you admire everyone and then graduate to hop to another vtuber company. That just spells disingenuous. Vtubers for the most part sells because of their personality and their design.
>>12357893>Could you imagine what the #6 choice must feel?Kiara rrat timeloop again? Wait, it was Polka that allegedly took her spot right?
>>12357765Cover I think purposefully choose girls with immense potentials and low initial skill level to follow that idol's journey path. That way, her viewers can really experience the growth of the girl and be even more attached.
>>12357896Not for niji, they're just branded as virtual streamers the same as twitch streamers
>>12357882Retard. Everyone knows Luna was a loner in Niji. She barely interacted. Her moving was not a big deal. It's actually a joke.
>>12357867>supposed to route for themAm I?
>>12357937Anon. If you haven't clued in from all the anime tropes/arcs complete with a full cast/solo Idol concerts they have been doing, you will never get it.
>>12357882Luna joined when she and Hololive were small. She was nowhere near as popular as Lulu or Gibara. By the time Moruru graduated those two already more popular than her and they're just debuted.
>>12357921Yet they sing, dance, aspire to be on stage, and Uiha exists. Same as Holos. Both play games and stream like a Twitchfag. In fact Uiha dropped streaming almost completely, to do music and dancing.
>>12357900>>12357931Or... you're just a retarded dramafag making a mountain out of a molehill
>>12357982So it's just Uiha then. Or to an extent... a few of them.
>>12358005Sure anon. Whatever you say
>>12357917I might agree if you mean they lack in some area, but they have to be talented in another. Look at gen 5, the only one that could be said to lack an obvious talent at the start is Lamy. But even she has the zatzudan talent, which became pretty obvious once she started. They all have a talent that benefits both themselves and the gen, but yes they all have something they can improve in.
>>123580061st wave, a bunch of the popular males, Ryushen, Yumeoi, and now people like Yorumi and Sasaki are getting 3D idol outfits, not to mention the tons of concerts
>>12357917>low initial skill levelSome but not all, cmon now
>>12357896Not exactly. A lot of the low-mid to bottom Nijis basically treat it as a hobby. Kuzuha, Kanae and Fuwa are digital host for Fujos. There are some in Niji who do want to make it big but most of them will probably graduate to pursue those dreams irl. Hololive is different because most Holos do have a big dream in mind and want to achieve it as chuubas. Suisei and Subaru are the epitome of this. Even Pekora who danced like shit in Holofes2 greatly improved as showcased in Mel's live yesterday because she actually started training. Gura herself has mentioned that she dreams of performing on stage just like those Miku concerts that she saw way back, so now most chumbuds are invested in seeing her in 3d and performing. That is what a real idol journey looks like.
>>12357982Yeah some of them. There's still over half of the company who aren't interested in that. Individuals can still tap into that kind of desire and energy and obviously some niji's do. However it's one of hololive's main tentpoles and something that is constantly in the background of what goes on there. Even people like Botan have done a singing 3d live. It's about framing overall. It's much easier to get involved in something if everyone around you that you interact with is also involved in that thing. This happens to both the hololive fandom and also the hololive talent but doesn't really in niji due to their nature and culture.
>>12358030>>12358054Botan I think is the only one with no obvious flaw. Then again, girls like her are hard to come by.
>>12358060>greatly improved as showcased in Mel's live yesterday because she actually started trainingHoly shit, if that didn’t blow me away. Pekora character development both in game and on stage is a whole anime in itself. Cover may have lucked out once again with this whole “mandated social distancing” thing because it made “pre recorded lives” acceptable and that allows them to show the streamers in their absolute best.
>>12358060But you say this because you don't watch them, you wouldn't know things like Akina's debut dream of performing at Budokan or Mito's dream of doing a solo live for her fans or Wave 1 wishing to be together on stage for over 2 years. etc. By every I mean being in any large company means you have access to tools to reach your dreams, not that EVERY Niji aspires idolesque dreams.Suisei's ambition is leaps and bounds beyond any of them but I'm not bring up weight of effort, just the fact that idol encompasses a bigger idea than most anons believe
>>12358144>Cover may have lucked out once againthis is becoming a trend. getting lucky all the time means someone at Cover is good at noticing trends and capitalizing on them.
>>12358170It's voodoo black magic anon
>>12358129Let's be honest here, Botan has a lot of room to grow in the idol department if she wants to put that work in.
Isnt this the fucking numbers thread? Why is it all WORDS
>>12357261This is honestly a good idea. Hire the best without overpopulating your roster with the weak ones and data of how they will perform in the saturated market.
>>12358145Which is why I say "most". The chuubas you mentioned are some but not the majority. Yes, Anykara has the resources to provide for those who WANT to pursue being an idol. The thing though is majority of the company DOESN'T want to. They participate in concerts but more out of courtesy for being part of Nijisanji.
>>12358212it's essentially a comfy retirement home for her. she will do what the company/gen mates want for her but wouldn't go out of her way to get better at it.
>>12358170>>12358192Yagoo broke into a Wuhan lab and leaked the coof, sending the world into a pandemic at the perfect moment for Holo domination.China finds out and seethes, but to avoid losing face, they manufacture outrage and escalate the Taiwan yab to unsalvageable levels, forcing Hololive out of China as punishment.
>>12341025>participated in "Do you want Kaguya to tell you?"lol yeah exKaguya Luna told everyone everything just in time
>>12358170It's also that they seem to find the right people who want to put the work in. Pekora getting better at dancing and performing in the lives is just the result of her dedication of wanting to be an idol. They seem to avoid duds/people just coasting when they recruit, or at least on the JP side.
>>12355891make this the header in the next numbers thread.
>>12358240>Hire the bestThe best will try for holo anon, else would go for Sony or Merise
>>12358240They aren't hiring anyone, they're graduated and can go apply to Niji if they want, and the talented ones may probably be scouted. This is basically like Anycolor showcasing a fine cultlet of meat for anyone to take
>>12358235There is no numbers to discuss yet desu. Niji is dead so far today with no big timers streaming yet and only Holo of worth streaming is rushia with a decent MC stream. Marines stream in an hour will be interesting though to judge if the comeback still boosts her to higher then normal numbers.
>>12358192>>12358265>>12358277why the fuck are they actually so lucky? I swear with each yab, they only get stronger. the Taiwan incident would've ruined and bankrupted similar size companies but their numbers only got stronger from there. there's actual black magic going on at Cover. hell, even Sora's rise in popularity was due to luck.
>>12358235Then provide numbers you cunt
>>12357182Sounds like a whole lot Holocope
>>12358235No streams and waiting graphs to get posted/reposted since the month is done now.
>>12358317Yagoo has EX rank luck. Or maybe Karma is paying him back with interest for being the biggest saviorfag.
>>12358170>>12358192Thanks for the compliments. I came from the future and I own Cover and leading the company from the shadows. I also bought Ichikara, renamed it to Anycolor using my gains from investing BTC and ETH when they were still pennies and will dissolve the company come January to achieve absolute vtuber monopoly.
We should stop talking about number on No Numbers November
>>12358286>>12358313If they're were doing good, why leave? Anycolor will likely allow them to continue with their avatar.
>>12358440>Anycolor will likely allow them to continue with their avatar. These avatars look like the most generic placeholders. They should at least as for a new live2d model if they choose to join Niji.
>>12358393DIBS ON POST UNEMPLOYMENT HOSHIKAWA!I like my chuubas chaste and that surely looks like one that is saving herself for marriage
Miko just joined Rushia, this could get big numbers
https://youtu.be/AadV0s_qvJ8This one gura clip has 700k views in under a week
>>12358440The generic design is like that on purpose, they're fucking shit. Imagine if they debuted with sex designs and said they WILL graduate and can never be used. And anyway they lose the avatar in the end.
So how is the new Sony venture doing number-wise? Anyone tracking? Are they mogging already?
>>12358469>meanwhile in the third world ghettoThey traded the EN-JP megaboost for a chance at independence and a more sustainable pathway for growth (something that they wouldn’t really achieve as a branch if they continued living on the shadows of JP). I don’t agree with the decision but it remains to be seen if it was the correct one.

>>12358482Japs love Gura. She might not get as high CCV as Pekora and Kuzuha but her strength is in clips, clips and clips. I don't think anyone can beat Gura in that front alone.
>>12358504https://youtu.be/uAROgbQBxes5k views in around ten hours, you tell me.
>>12358504You mean the teaser? Nobody is watching it.
>>12358562I mean, 3K at noon SEA time and before primetime JST is pretty great. This is wayyy more than Maha5 and NijiID can hope for
>>12358577>low views>that dislike ratioKEK
Okay it doesn't look as impressive after Kuzuha's Vampire numbers, but Myth or Treat is at 244k after 6 hours.500k in 24 hours is possible and would be a crazy good first day number. That would be EoaL level and def 1 mil in less than a week.
>>12357261>we're releasing too many chubbas at this rate what should we do>I know let's just debut them differentlyWith these generic design even amongst Nijisanji I'm highly skeptical of anyone remotely invested in these throwaways
>>12358562It remains to be seen. It IS true that current HoloID is basically feels like extension of HoloJP/EN, so them choosing to instead try and wrench open their home market isn't exactly wrong, but it's going to be painful on their numbers while they do it.
>>12358568that's no surprise. her normal streaming time is around 9am for japs which isn't that accomodating
>>12358562To be fair, there is a big chance that they will lose viewers the more HoloEN releases new gen. Diversification is probably not a bad idea
>>12357261So will this reach Edengumi's debut numbers? It's still Anycolor, so I think it can clear 50k
>>12357553holo hasnt said anything about having new jp members in more than a year, im just thinking either they debut this year or they're sticking with the current 5 gens at this point
>>12358607it was on ame's channel so i doubt anyone expected it to grow that fast. also the time they uploaded it likely didn't help since America was going to bed, EU was asleep and JP was at work
>>12358562I think it's the best in the long run from a business perspective. ID needs to develop the market if they should have a purpose to exist. From a pure numbers perspective it's probably not the best way forward, but if they can build a bigger national core then it should improve over time.
>>12358681Not a lot of people are happy with it so I doubt it.>>12358684Same with Niji since June 2020, and they threw Eden out of the blue in July 2021.
>>12358607So how is Kuzuha's Vampire number? Does the viewer number is still inclining fast?
>>12358632I mean I kinda see the reason for it. The last thing Cover wants is for HoloID to walk the same road as NijiKR where they have close to 0 traction locally and have to depend on pandering to the JOPs. But yes, until they actually get significant traction locally, it's gonna be painful for them numbers-wise. But hey, at least they're doing better than NijiID or even NijiEn so...

Completely unrelated but its funny Nijiniggers always call out Hololive for box pushing which is for whatever reason a bad thing yet they only gets big numbers on company events where as Hololive gets them in individual events.

>>12359311Nijisan looks pretty light today desu, Kanae had a 10k just after midnight and Maiamoto has some Mahjong streams coming up. Other then that there seems to be nothing scheduled, Kuzuha with a break day or a guerilla coming up? Holo seems to have a more of the big hitters streaming so with that it should be Holo's day.Unless I'm missing something in the schedules.
>>12359311Now that Marine is back and there doesn't seem to be any Niji special events until Nov 5, it wouldn't be wise to bet on Niji taking Nov 1-4.The odds for Nov 5 (3D debut) are pretty good tho.
>>12359393Looks like a live judging by the thumbnail?
is 1期生 the weakest gen? haachama is severely damaged by her erratic streaming sched, akirose is akirose, matsuri is matsuri, fubuki's the only one doing decently. well mel seems like she's going to start streaming more regularly
>>12359314Glad to see that you also think Nijisanji has no EOP fans at all.
>>12359496Agreed, after matsuri tanked herself there is a lot of low hitters in that gen.
>>12358828>For record keepingKuzuha Vampire: 1.36 mil at the 24 hr mark.
>>12355239It keeps getting lonelier at the top.
>>12359528It's sad to think that peak gen 1, even with Mel and Aki debuffs, was in contention for being one of the strongest gens after gen 3 and now one could argue that their the weakest gen barring ID.
>>12359665I don't think there was ever a phase where Gen 1 was stronger than "Nijikiller" Aqua w/Gen 2 or "Eekum Bokum" Korone w/Gamers.The strongest Gen 1 is also in Gamers anyways.
Korone is a possible winner this dayhttps://youtu.be/ujljr2lJS90
Oh gods. Sora senpai no! That's in the same day as the Niji concert (females) in January! (Sololive, Jan 22nd)
>>12359665 There has also been a lot of things going against them, asmr getting fucked by youtube affecting mel, Haachamas horror lore getting shutdown, the fuckups by matsuri and the general mental state of Haachama. Aki is the one that I can't really say has had anything going for her desu, she doesn't seem to bring anything to the table that others does equal or better.
>>12359769Ok Sora-sama, time to kill Niji once and for all.Don't grudgepost me. Sora will win this the same way Mel beat Kuzuha's stacked day.

What would everyone here think if vtuber actually dies in the West?I mean, I would be pretty bumped out by it if this means no more clips. I can't speak JP anyway, but I don't care about studying JP so translated clips are the only way for me to enjoy JP vtubers.

>>12361641Non-troll actual serious answer: Won't be any time soon, Streaming in EN scene is already much more mature and centered around Male variety streamers. All the biggest streamers in the world are dudes on Twitch (asmongold, xQc, that spanish dude). In JP, the streaming scene kind of grew at the same time vtubers did, so vtubing and irl streaming are more even-footed, with only a few notable standouts such as Jun and Koretube. The fact that HoloEN is as big as it is is honestly a bit of a minor miracle.
>>12360558That can’t be right… what about… huh. The fact biggest European pop culture forces are English speaking and Britain is leaving the EU really thin on the cultural impact front.
>>12361512Miko's nigga moment was important only for Miko herself and even then it was just relative to the miserable numbers she had before then, she didn't become huge from it or anything. The post you replied to was just falseflagging but I think a lot of people here got into Hololive via EN or dog clips and have no idea what kind of a position Coco had for the first four or five months because there's really nothing equivalent these days. It was the period Hololive as a group really started booming over Nijisanji with box pushing becoming powerful and in that period pretty much anything she did was THE thing in vtubing.

>>12361697I don't actually watch vtubers so it's ok.HoloJP can create enough drama for me to shitpost
>>12361752> a few SEAniggers and tranny drama raids.
>>12361633I would not say bullied to death, but Coco has always been kinda cringe to the og fans on /jp/. I myself was not a huge fan, I found her obnoxious, but she did contribute to Hololive's growth. Not only her. It was a perfect storm of a lot of on-hand talents from previous gens, clips and the rona. Coco was more influential with her live morning shows in helping to get jops and the chink clips of mainly other holomen got the eops.
>>12361697It probably won't affect the JP side much, but will make companies think twice in establishing an EN branch in the future. Though the only scenario I can imagine EN vtubing dying is through some huge scandal that will give it a negative connotation to viewers.

>>12361932Noel...
>>12361782Yes. You've come to the same conclusion that the EN management likely did when they went through this train of thought last year. "What could kill this brand new venture into a market that honestly blew up? A scandal". Imagine if a bunch of new to vtuber schizos found out that those bugs were raiding their oshis, and then collectively decided an internet flame war was the answer. How the fuck do you manage that? Not to say I have any love for EN management, but it was no doubt one of the reasons they ghosted Coco after the Taiwan yab.
>>12361961It stalled before that though.
>>12361916I decided to browse both threads and search for Niji and Holo posts in both. 90% of the discussion in both was from the same person throwing out the same bait in both threads.
>>12361778>Coco was more influential with her live morning shows in helping to get jopsYeah, that's something worth noting. People who weren't around hear she was influential and just immediately assume it was about her speaking English even though that had nothing to do with it. Her big influential contributions at the time were the news, the whole ARK boom and her Yakuza streams that had a very popular clip series on Niconico. Judging by her chat two of those were outright EOP repellant and many others like Matsuri or Suisei had more English in their chats. Meanwhile she was constantly going trending on JP Twitter and shit.

>>12362819As many have said, Nijisanji used to have, not the same, but about 1/4th of the EN clips Holos had back in late 2019, early 2020. EoPs didn't know there were many different companies back then, they just watched funny anime avatar clips.Except, when you went to the comments, the difference became clear, as most Holo and indy clips were about the clip/streamer or recommending more clips, many of the Niji clips had comments about how "this is why Nijisanji is the best" "Holo fans ruined vtubing", "Ichikara technology is so much better".That gatekeeping elitism is partially what lead to fewer and fewer Niji clips and fewer people other than them commenting. There were a lot of other, more important factors of course, but part of the Niji fandom got stuck with that image.Wonder if we can get clip numbers for this? I just know that the GunKan, Ange, Gibara, Lulu prime was during early 2020 based on those being the most viewed clips.

>>12365008>>12364929Oh definitely, not talking about the the money more about the ability to do it.
>>12364854miko did it for 1 month and got hospitalized for 3 months afterwardI don't think management will let them stream that long again
>>12364901would be crazy if top 10 is all holos
>>12365067>more about the ability to do it.Korone could do it easily, same for Okayu.
>>12365095>would be crazy if top 10 is all holosIt won't. Hal has one with 18k
>>12364796They let Aloe/Holo-anti threads flood the board while banning people who posted about the Meiro/Roa situation outside of the sticky thread.
>>12365095It’s also Monday so there’s the weekly Patra ASMR which usually gets 17k now
>>12365293Yeah, but she starts after midnight so usually it enters the tuesday ranking
>>12364812its about 1 hour 40 minutes into the stream. mentions 6th gen and how its about time to get new members soon. also sports fes next year might need to be split into 2 days if they decided to do it again because of additional members and everyone as a whole might even be more busy than this year
>>12365343Huh. Yea, that's as good of an indication as any that they've already got gen 6 picked out and are just getting the final touches and timing for exactly when they'll debut then.
Quite a strong showing at the 12 hours mark. I guess the out-of-Hololive collab debuff and the more than 50% Japanese debuff got cancelled out by the earworm electroswing backing track.300k in 24 hours seems very doable like I predicted, and probably 8-9 days to 1m if I'm being conservative
>>12359854damn, when did Subaru climb up in superchats?
>>12365425I'm pretty sure that the mixed lyics give it more 'in' to the JP audience too. >>12365282Oh, fuck that guy then.
>>12360331Disco Elysium
>>12365343that pretty much solidifies that theres gonna be gen 6 instead of sticking with the 5 gens i guess?
>>12364766What is the highest hours streamed in a month by a vtuber anyways? It might be Chihiro's 330 hours back in July, but not sure
>>12365635That's a mental amount of hours... Was it just Apex spam or a mix of everything?
numbar pls
>>12365343The new members could be ID3. I hope it's JP6 though
Is King streaming today or Marine gets the first gold of November?
>>12365890Goes to Marine. Even if he started a stream now it'd count towards tomorrow.

>>12364854I thought JP Holos were streaming less because of the ENs?
>>12365885We should have a numbers thread but only covering those with low views.
>>12366371I think you'd end up inviting the ire of /asp/ and /wvt/ if you did that, and we get enough shitters as is thanks.
>>12366335Iirc both Watame and Korone have been told to avoid overdoing it.
>>12366287Nijisanji Only needs to go 16-13 the rest of the way to win the month. That's .500, really plausible.
>>12366415Imagine if we applied the tools we use and analysis to EN start ups. How much would this thread start glowing?
>>12362742Dat English too
>>12366432Hololive is very light on big things in november. Only anniversary is Azki, Lamy + Noel got Birthday, on top of that it's Sports Festival and gen 3 Concert. Only the sportsfest and gen 3 should be a slam dunk win for the day. There is a lot of open days.
>>12364072Thanks a lot for the graphs. I was asking for something similar a few days ago under suspicion that the JP branch is in the next stage of transforming from streamer-oriented to idol-oriented.I'm kinda expecting the number of hours of EN going up (Sana will be back and the others seem less sick) and the numbers of JP going even lower for the big yearly concert.
>>12363773Didn't she get sick or something early on after debut and also had bad shit happen like an earthquake during swimsuit stream?

>>12366656Hip surgery. Her recent anni/bday (forgot) 3D stream happened at the exact time YT died globally.
>>12366594sounds like a good month for a new gen debut
>>12366739wrong thread
Incredibly strong numbers for the first 12 hours. This is even stronger than End of A Life's first day pace and it could be 600k+ at the 24 hours mark. 2-3 days 1m views easily.
>>12366415I forgot /asp/ was no longer wrestling
>>12367090Possible, the jp gens have a shorter time from announcement to debut(at least gen 5) then en, so definitly possible. But I wont hope for it before it happens.
>>12367387I hope gen 6 won't have shitty design like EN2.
