I went and checked the past ~7-8 /hlg/ threads (which is admittedly only around 7 hours of threads) and there was only more Korone discussion when she was playing Jashin Korone. Actually I think we still had more actual posts outside of just images/lewd posting, though a fair bit was from arguments. Beyond that though each thread only had one or two mentions of Korone.
If you think about it, it makes sense for /hlg/ to have more discussion during that time. More posters, even if few are koronesuki, means more discussion on the tumors currently live, even if they're only one of many.

From what I can see there wasn't actually much of an image spam when Korone was streaming. Most image posts had text as well. Though I see when Korone finished and Okayu was still in the Among Us collab there was much less discussion and it went back to horny posting. I think that can be attributed to it being a large collab where /hlg/ would actually have been the better thread to discuss it in though.

tl;dr a quick shows that's bs, but maybe checking the past 100 /hlg/ threads might be different. I get your complaint but I feel you also inflated the issue a bit.

The efficiency demon in Okayu has her trying to learn to send messages with flick gestures on her phone lately. She's not very good at it yet, but she's giving it her all. She's doing her best to grow as an adult, one that can use flick gestures. She's been at it for 2 days. They really are convenient, almost 5 times as efficient as typing on the virtual keyboard. Sometimes she receives important messages when she's out, and hates typing long replies when she's not on her PC. There's also some common mistake you can make with it, which enters "...!" as if you were talking like a Kaiji character.

A kotatsu has arrived at Okayu's house, and it's all set up too! She hasn't turned it on yet, but just using it off is already great. Temari likes curling up in it too. She sent Subaru a message saying "Subaru, this kotatsu sure is great.", getting a "For real?" in response. She also sent one to Korosan, telling her to come over at anytime to use it. Subaru and Okayu are definitely quick at adapting plans with each other though. Subaru told her that the new keyboard she bought was cute, and Okayu said she was free to come over and give it a whirl. She seems like she might be the type to fall asleep in the kotatsu. Okayu hears that's bad for you, so she'll make sure to wake her up if she does.

Okayu feels like, at some point, being in hololive has made her more sensitive to tee tee. The other day, she was getting a trim at her usual salon. It wasn't at the busier hours, so Okayu actually had 2 people washing her hair for her. Okayu would describe her usual stylist as a rather cool-looking onee-san; black clothes and all. The other one helping her was a lady with pink hair and a rather fluffy air about her. The cool onee-san told her that she wasn't supposed to talk about that in front of the customers, but the other one continued talking about her sending her a Youtube video the other day and eagerly asking for her thoughts about it. Flare's always been real good at looking after people, even in the previous server. When's the elytra collab? Okayu hears it's real difficult to get, so maybe when she's better at the game.
