What I meant by the word "true value" is, I, like any other mature viewers I guess, see their lives behind the avatars and relate to them, which you snotty urchins are really unable to do. Sometimes it even makes me sob.

When I was a kid I had no idea why adults went out to bars and pubs while they could drink in their home, but now I got it. If there had been a bartender like Marine I must have frequented there. Communication in an inner circle is joyful as hell, especially when you have one talented personality in your circle. And you kids need to go out and hang out with your friends first. You need some "experience" to get to relate to vtubers. Don't have Marine overwork with some silly games only to amuse you lazy children. To be fair, you have to have a very high age to understand Houshou Marine. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of 2hu and BL most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Senchou's horny outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from the School Rumble manga, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the maturity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Marine truly ARE young brats- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Senchou's existential catchphrase "Ahoy!," which itself is a cryptic reference to Ozuma Tezuka's epic Shin Takarajima. I haven't played a single video game since 2013, but I do check some new games or franchises from childhood(RE, Crash Bandicott etc.), I just put a walkthrough at 3.2x speed and it only takes me one evening to "finish" a game, I don't have to play it.

But there are downsides of being mature as well.
I think I am suffering ten times more than you do when I watch Kanata’s stream. My anger and sorrow update each time I see her talking about her mom. I would have broken in their house and slapped her mom if she’d been my niece or something. I might have tried to bereave her of the custody if I could. In the comment section of some clip ignorant kids were saying that she was an angel and her mom was some archangel straight out of the Old Testament. Shit, how stupid can children be? It’s not anime, but vtubers.
But at the same time I, a mature adult, know her mom would be also one suffering from her problems. Obviously she’s driven by her morbid obsession. I don’t know it’s from her failed marriage or something. I just feel sad when seeing those relationships. What I anticipate is that someday she would try to impose some arranged marriage on kanata, because she may think her daughter makes mistakes if she does things on her own.
In general it’s likely to be depressing to see Vtubers talking about their families. There’re exceptions like Mori or Subaru, of course.

In general those family problems, or private matters are confined to households and won’t be known until the problems grow to be uncontainable.
