I get that but crazies aren't anywhere near exclusive to that and video only YouTubers still have them in droves. It's just so odd to me that the content loop of Chuubas now is Shorts then Streams when pretty much every other content creator has it as Shorts > Videos > Streams.

EOPs don't like scripted videos like Ai makes since the things need to get translated, and well even with the cc translations her content isn't really that attractive to make someone stick. Especially since the new algorithm prioritizes watch time.

I don't think modern chuubas have that much to offer in terms of content. They sing songs, do zatsus and play video games. The only thing they can do is compilations, and clippers do it for free.
The old guard did skits, but without a good 3D model for acting and someone to help with the script, it's too much effort. There's a reason Hologra has a dedicated team for it.

Yeah, are videos posted with translations now? I remember when they were like weeks behind the latest video which made it hard to keep up. With the watch time though, things might've changed now but despite the higher raw watch time from streams, I had one single stream recommended to me in 2019 before I watched any stream. Idk how it is now since it's been so long but before I started watching streams I straight never had them recc'd.

Clippers kind of did this role, but now the clipping meta has changed to being minute long clips you can shit out we basically lost the video format that they used to fill. Like having a totsumachi properly clipped up like how Ai's video was done would be an easy YouTube video (that any stream based content creator would jump on) but no one in the Chuuba adjacent world does that now.
