To the author of Rice Balls, I'm a few days late, but I thought that was a wonderful little story. The ending made me a little sad, on top of it; at least they got to live a comparatively full life with the person they loved. Okayu's observations were fun, as well as her little experiments. It was a nice read overall.

Read through Lazing Catto again after Okayu's ASMR yesterday. The two pair well together.
You did a great job illustrating Okayu's good points. Her kindness, flirtatiousness, and teasing nature all came through well, and the attention paid to her reactions really added to the intimacy of the story. I know some didn't appreciate that it took a while to get to any sex, but that experience of spending a long, loving day with her is exactly what I'm looking for in a story like this.

Well, yeah that was stomach churning. But to be honest the epilogue isn't great. It felt like a rather disjointed way to try and end it on a happy note, when the end of the chapter before it was at least to me just as good of one. And the dialogue is really empty? It's kinda hard to explain but it felt awkward, or more forced I guess, like it was high school play about forgiveness.

Hey anon, thanks again for the high praise. I get the criticism, but this long, drawn-out and somewhat uneventful buildup to the sex is exactly what I had set out to write in this story. Just spending some time cuddling and hanging out with Okayu, lazily wasting the day away next to her until things got naturally frisky. Sure, you could write "And you spend an entire afternoon doing nothing" in a paragraph to give the reader the idea; but I wanted you to feel it, build tension and for it to feel like time had really passed.

I kind of wanted a bit more dirty talk out of her, but in the end I didn't go overboard with it. It's one place I know I can do better.

My final thoughts on this after reading through it while it was being serialized. It's really fucking good, the building sense of dread and anxiety all thoughout the work and sick escalation of it makes a great fucking experience reading through it.
Honestly the only 'flaw' I'd say is that it kind of dragged on a bit with an ending that kind of stumbles the climax since the mindnumbing pain that the narrator is in isn't really reflected in the narration. I think with a concept like this, you want to focus more on the setting itself and treat the characters with less importance - as if they're just ordinary people living out some of the most exciting parts of their lives, minute building blocks in an ecosystem supported by countless others.
