Here are the 6 streams Niji main channel has.

For some reason the library I use considers the median of an odd numbered list of values as the lower bound of the halfway point (in this case, the 35672) meaning even an additional 1 CCV stream wouldn't change their median because 35672 would just get bumped up

Now 2 streams below 35672 would drop their median to the highest value of both or to 20172 if it would be the highest of the three.

The vtubers who technically supplanted AI and the original kings but since they couldn't beat any of the original kings in terms of subcount at that time, they couldn't officially claim the title themselves.

Even looking at Twitch numbers nowadays, vtubing is already so big that it might not be possible to realistically expand more.
Gura isn't like xQc level big or heck, DreamSMP or Auron-level, but there's not that many that can get 20k+ CCV often. For female streamers especially, there's only a handful.
Even 10k is already beating most of the well known female streamers.
OTV is pretty well-known and "normie", but I think most HoloENs already gets better numbers than most of OTV.

All they really need is a consistent streamer on par with Pekora or even just Miko. Someone who will stick to one timeslot. And stream everyday with almost no breaks.

HoloEN had a CCV renaissance when Council debuted and when the Minecraft collabs were happening every day, because it was an exciting time to be a HoloEN viewer. Then there was the 3D anniversary and the 3D halloween events.
