The main issue as I understand it was that the video was a massive tip-off for the person or people behind the doxxing and impersonation to know if investigators were closing in on them. Also, I didn't see the video, but if he also named someone -- that makes it even more difficult for investigators to obtain a search/arrest warrant unless the preliminary evidence is absolutely airtight because courts have to take any public speculation/rumors into account to determine if those affected the investigative process and added bias.
