I like her. She had a very strong debut. Question is how she'll do once she starts streaming. It'll depend on how consistently she streams, how well she'll interact with her fans, how well she'll connect with her fans, and her abilities as an entertainer.
I've yet to see anyone really beat Pekora in these aspects (except maybe Watame when it comes to connection with her fans because the parasocial relationship she has with her fans is unlike anything I've ever seen) although a few have come close. Laplus is a very, very strong contender though. She made a very good first impression and she oozes potential. The kusogaki energy she radiates is really fucking strong too, which is a plus.
Speaking of Pekora, I'm interested in seeing her interact with Laplus in the future. Considering what Laplus is like I feel like they'd bounce off each other pretty well.
