WoD states on their websites that it can be used freely and without repercussions but cover is a japanese company and therefore extra autistic and needed their extra autistic certificate with specific mention of them specifically being allowed to stream and monetize it. It was big fucking luck that someone from paradox was actually watching the stream and basically forwarded everything to their management who instantly got on the case. The whole drama took 30 minutes to first surface and then get resolved and what everyone took from it is that cover management is absolute ass and incompetent to boot.
