I assume illumination would be a combination of lanterns and lava. Chains used more often, railtracks in the middle of roads.

not gonna lie bros i'm a little mixed on the new overworld terrain. fantasy builds and stuff like that are easier to make now but I also just want normalish flat land to build on and it's hard to find that now.
The fuckhuge mountains are nostalgic but I also don't like them as much as I thought I would

>1.18 is here, as with any fresh software update expect to find stupid shit, crashes and frequent reboots while I try to get it back to stable
>End reset is still happening and actively being worked, expected either tomorrow or early saturday
>All of the plugins function on 1.18 to some degree, creative world is currently closed until the crashing is figured out and cut down on
>MCJukebox will probably not be back for a while, it was found to be eating a ton of resources during the early anarchy period so that needs to be figured out
>Dynmap is currently catching up to the new server geography, that will eat a lot of TPS
>Paper is still releasing new versions on a daily/twice daily basis so expect regular restarts for those as well
That's about it, don't be discouraged from exploring and make regular use of your f3 screen so jannies can teleport you if your exploration gets rolled back

It seems like it's been a lot better today, the only major issue remaining seems to be dynmap isn't displaying biomes correctly but that's a known plugin issue in work. I'm still going to give it a few days of the current setup to make sure it's ironed out before starting to enable extras like the creative world and jukebox

There's a portal on the nether roof at 100,375 (South) that goes to the beginning of an themed parkour/puzzle map underground. I plan to have a bunch of different levels themed after different Holos (or non-Holos if you want to represent your oshi).
