If you ki pulse and flux II you almost never run out of ki, so the combat system feels a lot more spammy than games like dark souls since you don't need to worry about stamina management.
The 3 stance combat makes each weapon type feel like 3 different weapons and you usually go through the game only using 1 weapon type. Also you can do neat stuff with active skills.
It can get grindy on the later ng cycles, and you pretty much need to have a meta build to do well on them. On the first few ng cycles it is really easy and you can use whatever.
It's my favorite soulslike, but it's not really much like dark souls games if you are looking for that type of experience.
