Last year's pekomiko Christmas gave them nothing but a ton of yakkai shippers but hasn't even broke 1M views.
The stream itself was not romantic, just wholesome friends banter and even joking about each other's new TeeTee partners.

My personal rrat is as such:-

1. Pekomiko decided to have stop collabing so closely to damper the shipping + expand network.
2. Pekora has shit acting skills and is incredibly awkward when trying to give space to Miko's new ship (micomet) - see Usaken iceboat racing and Mario party episode.
3. Management stepped in and guided her on how to act and stop being a total sperg.
4. Pekora reacts quite normally in Gartic Phone to pekomiko drawings and is normal in Sportfest interactions again.

At this point, the pekomiko shipping is now weaker and the shippers can now get their fill via micomet. As someone who sees pekomiko as best friends, I hope pekomiko xmas does not happen this year to kill off the shippers once and for all. They can then do more collabs next year.
