I've been depressed and isolated for most of the last 10 years and can only remember a few days where I was happy. A recently debuted vtuber was doing ASMR last week and was talking about self improvement and she said she believed in me (well, chat in general, but you get the point) during a stream last week and I've been riding that high since then and have actually felt happy for the 1st time since late 2019. I was thinking back & realized that was the first time anyone actually encouraged me to be better without it being a back handed compliment in that whole timespan.
