Are you still in school and underage? This isn't an option for most people. Forming your own dev studio requires large amounts of money and is a huge risk. You need to pay your coworkers before you have something you can release. If you take that money from an outside investor then you're back at square one and the investor will want a say. A new title from an unknown studio also always has the potential to fail if you don't have large sums to spend on marketing and then you're in deep shit. Most devs can't just leave their job and give up their paycheck if the higher ups want them to do something they disagree with.
