At the end of the day they need to network and being professional relationships, most won't end up becoming genuine friendships, but as an entertainer it's better to present everyone as being your friend anyway. But there are definitely chuubas that are hobbyists and are actually trying to make friends but fall into that pitfall of meeting lots of people but only only at a surface level. My favorite indie chuuba is MIA focusing on real life issues. I don't like big corpo stuff but it's hard to find indies that stick to a schedule and try fun things while maintaining 2view popularity. I always found caleb was a great example of what to try and do, especially early on when he had a very slow chat. Not sure if you can still find his kingdom come deliverance VODs anywhere, but those were pretty great. Caring enough to act on it and knowing about it are two different things. Word spreads fast in chuuba circles, even if it's only in private. I can't speak for everyone, but I speak with people way out of my viewership size and even they're occasionally bring up some annoying twitter post they saw when we're in VC and they're going through their timeline.
