Literally that's just it. If all of HoloEN had radically different styles for each of them, it would be a different story. But they're not. All of their styles conform to what you'd see in contemporary anime, while Irys looks like a MTG card. It's completely off-brand from Hololive, you'd think she was a guest from a different agency. Like what if a future holo is just a full on Kemono? That's kind of how I feel about it. Roboco's weird robo legs and Sana's 2001 face design also filter me a bit. Petty reasoning aside, they're all good streamers.

I used to dislike whatever style IRyS model ended up being at first, but she simply grew on me.

If I can give an acceptable reason on why some people here, normies and non-vocals IRyStocrats are off about her, it’s like someone just drew a sketch, added paint and put the design in the Live2D and done. That’s it. You can notice it on her hair, shoulders and fingers, all the budget went to her crystal wings and eyes.
