Is it possible to obscure a screen from an emulator whenever the game is not running?

I've been thinking of starting with a retro games gimmick to tie in with muh lorr, basically I'm picking up trash, fixing it, and using that to game; and I was even thinking of getting a bunch of fake consoles to fiddle with as foley since I can't find ASMR videos of people just banging these things together despite all of the niche ASMRs there are.
Also, in part because I have no idea if my PC will be able to handle vtubing if I play modern games.

Depends on the amount of chuubas you want and what quality you want them at/ Assume at least 7k per chuuba's assets (total) if you're going fairly bare bones with character design, model, rigging, assets (overlays, transitions, and just the basic "we're a corpo" streaming assets.

You'll still need the full copyright to the art which can cost more at times. 5k is probably around the absolute bare minimum for talents though imo. You also need to think about editors and clippers too. A lot goes into making a chuuba that looks professional from the start as opposed to just /asp/ies and other indies who start up stream and gradually grow.

As a viewer it can be emotionally draining following a single digit or double digit viewcount streamer especially if they make you into a part of the stream and talk to you all the time, obligating you to reply. I often find the better low-viewers to be the ones that act as if it's a big stream all the time.

Big streamers and people like Devin Nash or Harris Heller who actively pump out advice and small streamers who do it are usually just parroting the same exact information aside from the random "take a break, mental health, just stream for you!" people who aren't interested in growth and just want to do things as a hobby. If a 2view gave you advice and a guy with 10k viewers gave you the same advice, what's the real difference? Jusagi's "advice" for the most part is just regurgitated from other sources, he just knows he can plaster "VTUBER" before the word advice and immediately catch a ton of stupid fish who think there's a difference between streamers and vtubers. As for what he's taken from it i can't point to anything specific but I've followed Kabhaal since he had maybe a dozen or so viewers and he'd often interact with or agree with Jusagi. The biggest that comes to mind is when he was under heat for something he said about Irys and people being jealous he defended him as a "marketer" or something along those lines. nah I was doing a capture card stream so my hand was on my controller the whole time, it's an easy fix but apparently people that have different mic interfaces deal with this but there's no sure solution aside from "just disable and re-enable your mic in windows settings" to fix it

Luck is an important factor on if a personality (I mean any e-celeb in general) will grow, very few get that lucky strike at the very start and grow quickly, others have to work more, which is why a good chunk of creators give up early on when they don't get that quick fame.
