If i was young again i too probably would want to be a vtuber just because its a cool new thing and it looks like fun. I wonder how many vtubers in the market are like that, just jump into the bandwagon because its what they want, not because they had experience with streaming or being entertaining or engaging and just elevating themselves with vtuber persona.

Sometimes i tune in to some 20view and it just feels like im watching a 3D streamer, but for some reason theres a vtuber avatar atached to them, no connection or soul. I wonder if these are the bandwagon people, or are do they just find a scapegoat to avoid showing their 3dpd faces on webcam since nobody cares about webcamless streamers unless you were big before hand.

If your body excretes melatonin at 5 am and cortisol at midnight, there's fuck-all you can do to work against it and you're better off just sleeping accordingly. Nothing degenerate about it..

Creating stuff yourself feels nice. It can also nicely complement your job, family and social life without being problematic should you have less time to spend on it because of an emergency in a different area of your life that needs more time allocated to it.

If you only pick up super-important projects stuff will crash if things hit a snag and you have no flexible time left in your schedule.

It's also likely that moderate procrastination gives your brain time to think in the background about questions that concern you that you worked on in the time before switching from work to your hobby. Leaving time for background-thinking has its merits too.

I can only speak for myself, but I've been a much happier person ever since I stopped doing this. my job is where I worry about deadlines, profit, and numbers, my hobbies are where I'm free from that burden. assuming you didn't set out on this only to make money, you should only stop doing it if you really don't enjoy it anymore.
