hololive error is such a strange thing to spend money and resources on, and the upcoming open world game is definitely going to go the same way, a big fucking waste of money. I always thought that Cover could always do a big overhaul and give all their vtuber talents brand new models that actually look good and are well rigged because I hold an autistic grudge over Cover claiming to be a "cutting edge 2D entertainment company" providing "the most advanced virtual entertainment experience from Japan" because a 2view indie vtuber model makes a good number of hololive's vtuber models look extremely outdated. The sad thing is, because hololive's talents generate lots of money anyway, they feel there's no need to make their product look good, because people are giving money regardless, and instead of using all this money to improve their product, they just waste it on stupid projects like a hololive themed horror game

Cover curates vtubers so (you) don't have to. It's really too bad though because 3/5 council should not have passed the audition, but when you have many thousands of people auditioning and there are 10-20 at the top with a similar level of quality, at that point it comes down to individual preference, and the need to fit the person to the avatar. Evidently yagoo's preferences are not my own.

As far as we know, Hololive was A-chan's and Sora's idea which was presented to Yagoo, the guy wanted to make a VR gaming company or some shit, so when the money started rolling in by some kungflu miracle, he started working on his dreams of vr again, sadly they are way behind on everything and his team proved to be mediocre at best. Pretty much nothing besides a basic $200 a month salary. You get a model and maybe 3D. Most holos were streaming to 3 digits viewers, with some exception like Aqua or Choco pre-ASMR shadow ban.
>Gamers to Gen 4
More prolific after their Azur Lane collab. Still wasn't as big with most debuts cap out to low 20k viewers. Bigger networks to collab within Hololive. Concept of "gen unity" started to take place among gen 3 and 4. Around this time Cover starts to improve on their 3D tech so you have a lot of interesting 3D streams. This mostly stopped once the lock down started in Japan.
