Some people do. Furry community is infamous for it. I think with anything, the more niche you go, the less interested creators are in producing content for it - or perhaps the higher the price that'll need to be paid.
How good do you have to be? Depends on the person. My minimum standard is a high degree of English mastery; I won't even bother considering an author if I see grammatical errors all over the place, let alone spelling and punctuation errors. Occasional typos are alright.

After that it's just how compatible your prose is with the commissioner, usually checked out on a case-by-case basis through past works.

No, I'm mostly writing for /ag/, not particularly you folks. I actually haven't directly shared here anything I've written aside from the prompts I got specifically from this thread, which tend to be quite a bit tamer.
That said though, I'm plenty open to tame stuff if you have any ideas, as long as they lean at least slightly into chub/slobbiness. It's fun sometimes to experiment with topics and settings I have little experience doing.
