Would you still watch your oshi if she turned her content into pre recorded short 15-20 minute videos?

>> No.19180686

yes? I’m not a holobrony

Ironically yes

Fuck no. I'd go back to watching male fleshstreamers.

Do you actually like your oshi and her content, or are you looking for a shout out?

My oshi mostly makes prerecorded 15-20 second videos these days and I still love her.

I barely watch live streams as it is. I mostly watch their VODs when I feel like it. Videos are the superior form of entertainment because there's no annoying chat interaction.

way better than streaming at this point

I like the way HimeHina do it
the live comments with the author present feels more like mini livestreams

Yes, it would force them to actually put some thought into making good content for once.

I prefer to actually focus on the content I watch rather than just needing something constantly making noise in the background because I have a functioning attention span and I'm not afraid of silence so a general move back away from improvised live streams towards properly edited content would be nothing but a boon for my enjoyment of the personalities I like.

I'd watch more. Though I'd still like her to stream 1-2 times a week.

It's the best format, for me at least. You can catch up with your oshi content without having to sit through a 4 hour video if you miss it live.

Wish more would do this, for example I couldn't never catch Polka live, but I love watching her Legend of Polka videos she makes.

id probably watch her more desu

So yes, I would. That content actually had effort and not some fuckstick playing minecraft then taking a break because their toomy hertz

Yes and no, streaming has its special own feeling of spontaneous moments, so I'd like an hybrid system

It would improve the quality, but streaming is where the money is at nowadays

>> No.19187575

It depends. It might actually be shit. I don't think I'd watch it if it was constantly just stuff like those Hololive main channel videos but with her in the main role.
She's not the type who'd generally benefit from turning her content into something of that sort.
Her main appeal is in casual talking with viewers/other tubers, so this would be almost like an antithesis of what I'd consider as being good for her channel.

Yes, but only to replace the glorified zatsudan shit which in reality is poor GFE bait. Literally zero reason to hear random talk of a random woman. Other stuff like Karaoke and let’s play can remain since making scripts and editing videos become a burden in the long run, especially when considering the rate vtubers make content.

People against the idea have the wrong take because they mostly imply to prefer the woman behind the avatar over the channel content itself.

This! The only member of Hololive I actively follow is Polka because of her Legend of Polka series, and I'm subscribed to a fair number of Hololive members.
>>19180619
In my opinion, this is something that Hololive lacks, members who actively create pre-recorded 10 to 20 minute videos in a weekly basis, not 30 second mini-videos like Marine likes to do (although I also like those but they are simply to damn short).
Because, realistically, not everyone who subscribes to a chuuba has hours to spend watching a stream live from beginning to end, so those people are basically lurkers who either don't watch the chuuba at all or just wait for the stream to end and then just use timestamps in the coments to jump to the interesting parts of the stream. (A good example being an Okayu ASMR stream I recently watched, where the ASMR segment was an hour long, and the superchat reading was an hour and 30 minutes long!)
So yeah, I would still watch my oshi if she changed to pre-recorded content.
