Probably Lies Come To Light? I see that mentioned a lot. Like, a lot-a lot. Something I hammered out between games of Vermintide somehow became a communally approved gold standard for ryona. Not sure how that worked out, but I'm glad it's liked. There's also the Kiara series that one Anon keeps jerking off to.

Easily Holofantasy or Relapse. Relapse was something I tried really hard on. I was deeply inspired by the stories it was a sequel to, and I tried to channel all that into something. Holofantasy grew into something a lot bigger than I had anticipated as well, but I'm still having a lot of fun with it. A lot of ideas on the cork board, places to go, things to see, etc. The reception to it has been wonderful, sexual or not, and I always am happy when I see people asking questions about it.

For fuck's sake I can't find a single piece of AZKi hyper muscle artwork. The bus flies along the road toward Disney World, it's so fast that kids on the bus are being flung from their seats by centrifugal force. The bus is packed with tourist and they all have cameras and video recorders. They're here to see the magic of the Happiest Place on Earth, and there is plenty of magic here in Florida, where the sun shine everyday of the year.
The bus turn a corner so fast a passenger smashed through the window. Glasses shattered everywhere as the bus hurtles down the highway at 80 miles an hour. passengers hold on to their seats for dear life.
"I'm going to be sick". Says Gura. "Please slow down". But no one listen to her.
It's too hot. The air conditioner isn't working properly, and the heat inside the bus is unbearable, Sweats trickle down Gura's face and wet her eyes. Her hoodie stick to her back and make it hard to breathe. The driver ignores all of those problem and speeds up. He's only doing 80 but he could easily do 90. People scream as they're thrown around the bus, slamming against the windows, the seatbelts cutting into their flesh.
the bus hit something on the road. The frontwheels spin and come off the ground, sending the bus through a fence and into a field.
"OOH MY GOD!" Gura screams from the back of the bus. People are trapped in between smashed seats and the ceiling. The engine still running and the brakes aren't working. The bus roll over twice and come to rest. Passengers stumble out onto the grass. Some of them lie there, dazed. A woman has a cut on her face. A man has dislocated shoulder. Several children have been knocked unconscious.
And yet Gura has arrived anyway right outside the entrance of Disney World. The buses are backed up for miles. People are queuing to get in. This is just the beginning of the week long holiday. Everyone come here to be happy, and they'll never be happier than they've ridden Space Mountain or eaten cotton candy at Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party.
People begin to scramble over severed limbs and bodies to join the queue. It's a long way to the entrance. Many will die before they reach the entrance.
Gura marches to the front of the queue, passing through hundreds of patiently waiting families. She reaches the entrance of Disney World.
"Next". Says the guard.
"Excuse me, sir." Gura says. "But I'm here to see Mr.Fagin"
"Fagin?" The guard stares at her.
"Fagin my way, now move it dingus." Gura laughs and shoves past him and into the park.
Gura follows the signs to the main street, She's wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and a fake moustache, but she doesn't think she fooled the cumbuds. She hopes not.

No, I wrote the one about meeting Gura in an alley. I actually know exactly why I'm feeling this way and since you're so special to me, I feel like telling you, but please don't share it with anyone because it's rather embarrassing!

When I gave up on that fic I told AA that it was up to him to decide if he would archive it or not, because I had no intentions of finishing it. The reason I'm upset is because AA actively chose not to do it. In my mind, the fic in its unfinished state, despite there being several other unfinished fics in the archive, was so uninteresting to him that in his eyes it wasn't even worth archiving. That's why I'm upset but please don't tell anyone because they'll call me childish, or worse, a f-slur!

Assuming you guys are talking about Siofra, it's practically impossible to miss as long as you've got an ounce of adventurer's spirit in you because of the massive unexplained dome with a mysterious lift in the Mistwood.

As for Nokron, well... that's most likely something I'd need a guide for. Honestly, I feel like there's actually way TOO much in this game - the Soulslike character system has a point where there's not much benefit to going forward - once you've got your weapon(s), talismans, and finished your build - and you reach it before you're done with all the content.
I got sick of bleed being the hottest shit on the block because of how simple it makes things, so I go sorc thinking it'd be like DS3... and sorc's stronger than ever, especially with Moonveil grabbing you by the hand and carrying you to the end.

Actually on-topic: I've found myself watching a hell of a lot of Lulu recently because I think she might be the only chuuba who may actually finish this thing on-stream. Her soulsborne runs were always fantastic and so far her ER streams are great fun; every time I get frustrated at how simple things are, watching her streams always lights that fire again. Highly recommended.

Long ago, in a distant land, I, La+, the shape-shifting mistress of darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil. But, a foolish Samurai Warrior wielding a magic sword, stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time, and flung her into the future, where my evil is law. Now, the fool seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is La+.

Gotta get back, back to the past, Samurai Iroha.

I: Beginnings and Endings.

The portal closed and Iroha landed in a crouch on the busy city street. Nobody paid her any mind, all eyes were downcast as everyone, all wearing crimson robes marched on, going about their day. Except for footsteps and the sounds of skytraffic overhead all was silent. She looked around, crimson banners hung from buildings, esoteric characters emblazoned in gold writ upon them. Otherwise the city had no decoration. Just slate grey buildings and black cables that ran into the foggy mist above. No trees. No grass. No rubbish on the streets.

Iroha walked through the crowd searching for... anything really. A food cart. A mouse. An open establishment. Something. There wasn't one. Iroha had already tried to get people's attention but nothing worked. Not even brandishing her sword. The Robes just stopped until she got out of the way. So she walked. The more she walked the more a weight seemed to collect on her shoulders, and she felt as if she was going to sleep when a metal bar being pushed into her stomach halted her. She shook her head and focused her eyes, this time pain came, a shock from the bar, a stun baton. It hurt, of course, but didn't do any real damage. It sure broke her trance, though. This time she saw what shocked her, a man, crimson, black, and gold armor stood before her, his entire face but for his mouth covered by a helm. "Awake now, scum?" The man demanded. "Where is your robe? Where are your papers? Where are you going?" He demanded.

Iroha cleared her throat. "I am new to this city, and-" the baton slammed down on her shoulder. "DON'T YOU LIE TO ME, SCUM!" The man roared, scant centimeters away from her face. "NO ONE IN OR OUT! ROBE! PAPERS! INTENTION!" He barked. She gestured to her Hitatare "This is my robe." The man sneered. "Funny." He raised his baton again, and Iroha unsheathed her sword. He stopped. "A...weapon?" He seemed incredulous. "This is my papers. And I am trying to find a way out." The guard backed away a step. "Now, hold on just a second sc-er-citizen. As I said, nobody gets in or out of this layer." Eyes narrowing Iroha stepped forward. "Except for Citizens, that is," the guard stammered quickly. "Yes, you can go where you wish. Even I will bring you. Yes?" "...Yes. Bring me to the exit of this level." The guard flinched. "I cannot go there, please understand, citizen." "You can lead me there, yes?" He shuddered, and seemed to be getting anxious. "Well. Yes I. Could do that. For." He slumped over.

Iroha started to move to him, then smoke billowed forth from his mouth, ears, and nose. The samurai hopped backwards, clearing three meters before she landed. The guard twitched, writhing on the ground like a fish on the dock. Smoke began to rise from his body. First his helm fell off ash, this his boots. Leg guards, gloves and arm guards, finally his pants and armor. After a few moments all movement ceased. Iroha cautiously moved toward the pile of armor until she felt radiant heat. On the ground, inside the armor, was ash, like he had been cremated from inside out. Only teeth remained, and those were metal, glowing red hot.

"What is this... horrible place?" Iroha asked out loud. Only oppressive silence answered her. She looked at the guard on the ground again and realized something. He had to have come from somewhere. Where? She decided to scout the area, hoping to find a place to sleep or rations to eat. Moments of rattling locked metal doors on bland stone buildings she came across an opened door. Iroha looked around, then quickly ducked inside. Monitors, view screens on the wall. An input system that presumably controlled them. A small cot. Chair, table, and... unfinished food and drink on the table. Iroha wasn't too keen on the idea of finishing someone else's meal, but she was starving, so she dug in. Like the city the food was bland. But it was filling. The drink, plain water, was a Godsend. She sipped at it until she no longer felt parched. After a few moments, and feeling like life returned to her, she began searching the room more thoroughly.

The first surprise she stumbled on was a backpack full of supplies. It seemed a typical soldiers kit, but she was glad to finally see something so normal in this place. She also found maps. Printed on dot matrix paper, drawn partially in ASCII, and annotated in a strange language, but maps they were, and, another blessing, the exits to this level were marked, as if given to her by a God from the machine.

Readying herself, she aimed to set out.

This seems decent but you should probably just write it in a doc instead of thread posting since unless you were posting smut, people really won't have anything to say until something happens in the narrative.

I've a fucking need to write an epic heroic moment against insurmountable evil kind of story, but I know that the impact of it won't be as good as if I wrote it in a multi-chapter series building up the characters, stakes, and plot. But that final scene where the hero, bloodied and tired, but far from defeated, stares straight at the final villain. Both beings brandish their weapons, their words long tossed to the wind. Now only the victor will decide the course of history, and the fate of the world. I have a great need to write that scene, but I'll bide my time and slowly continue writing out the series I'm working on.

I have a need to write a story about my self-insert overcoming odds and becoming a better person.
I also have a need to write a good chuuba story.
Those two needs are not compatible.

I don't think they're that incompatible in a series. One shots need to focus on impact and making their length count but a series has much more leeway in making the journey be worth more than the destination.
