It’s actually still getting some good views but this is sorta similar to what happened with Pekora’s VS vods early on but reverse.

Yeah. I’ve tracked enough to know this vod is going to be really bad not just for the game, but for Pekora’s standards too. This is getting way too reminiscent of her ARK where the frequent streams of it just cleave out a large portion of your viewerbase. This VOD in particular is honestly looking to be a 250-260k VOD tops, if there’s no crazy bump that hasn’t happened yet. And that’s just really poor in comparison to herself and even others who’re in their own set of playthroughs. The only other one that comes to mind who’s doing lukewarm is Miko, but that’s expected. In the early days of NijiEN, the seeds for this kind of thing were being set up with Kanae and some other JPs interacting with Lazulight on Minecraft, and setting up a similar "arc" let's say. It was fun watching it develop, and there was an anticipation that these seeds would bear fruit in the future.
But then we had 6 more people suddenly put in the group within half a year. The dynamic shifted, and the kept shifting. Storylines became confusing, everyone just started being buddy-buddy randomly with people - giving the audience no idea of who they were, and most of the existing "seeds" let's say - were completely abandoned.
That's what I felt during those times anyway. The small interaction with Kanae never came to anything, and died with Minecraft as the girls shifted their attention to other stuff.

Then again, I did my reps and watch mostly JPs now, so can you give me some context on some of these newer collabs? Were they just set up randomly and started off? How kino are they so far?

And western televising the whole thing means FUCK ALL if all of the sieges in Yugoslavia, Libya, Syria and Iraq taught anything. People will get bored of the same news after a week or two and get a weekly body count at most after that

I know it's kinda hard to explain, but it's like when Anya, Reine, Iofi or Risu interact with HoloEN or HoloJP. On the surface it looks normal but (as someone from the outside looking in) it feels like theres this weird feeling of Heirarchy, like when you're talking to someone 1 year below you. That kinda feeling. It's weird because when HoloEN and JP collab (that isn't Ina or Baelz) they're awkward as fuck but you don't get that same feeling. Ah I must have missed that then, I only watched her first FNF stream. She still performed rather poorly on DJ Max + those mobile rhythm games, though you could probably attribute her misses on the mobile games to side swiping. She seems to have trouble with that mechanic on Project Diva and Groove Coaster as well. She is directionally challenged after all.
