But what if the "art" is an extension of the artist itself like in vtubing, and it just happens that the "artist" is an unlikeable cunt?
There's an inexorable link between art and author that's harder to separate than in other forms of art.
Like Stephen King. His writting is good, but his personal politics make him look like a retard, but he separates that reality from fiction.
On the other hand, following a vtuber's social media is part of the experience, but time and time again they prove themselves to be terrible at maintaining an image. Wouldn't that stain the "art" in their case?
