I pirated the game and attempted to make some of the HFZ characters myself for the solo mode and holy shit is it hard to create a good looking/similar face to the vtubers. The fact OP has done it for over 50+ characters with fantastic outfits deserves a lot of credit.

if you're careful with 2k20 it doesn't crash often during characrer creation (moving too fast through menus causes it to crash, you have to give things time to load)
2k22 has similiar issues (moreso an issue with placing images on clothes or as tattoos. makes the game slow to a crawl and if you move things too quickly or if too many are on the character it will crash the game), but only if your graphics card drivers arent up to date.

The only true match crash I’ve seen thus far was during one of his test streams, hopefully meaning 2k22 is generally more stable and won’t cause those long reload gaps like during 2k20 crashes but I don’t really trust Vince.

I'm so close to figuring out once and for all if there is any merit to the rrat that OP is an employee at Cover. I just need to accurately plot OP's posts in 4chan and Twitter against any known staff members in Cover based on what I gathered from LinkedIn data and other social media accounts that I've collected and are currently following and monitoring. I also just need to accurately map out the company movements and maybe try to get some direct information by social engineering my way into speaking to someone over there and maybe get some leads about OP. 2k22 performed slightly better than i expected as a fantasy booking game, based on what i'd experienced so far actually playing the game manually. the graphics are nice, the action is fast and fluid, there's is a lot less jank than 2k20, the AI does varied offence and is proactive in going for their signature/finisher stuff.

however i kind of saw it coming that 1v1 would be slightly too fast paced whilst tag would be a 50min marathon. i wonder if there are sliders or something with mods/stat adjustments that could help in the future.

firstly for 1v1 there's a lack of slow paced "pro wrestling" stuff generally - chain wrestling, fighting for rope break, stamina depletion, the fact there is unlimited counter reversals, and almost unlimited escapes (i think it costs one bar which you get from hitting just a couple of moves). so it's almost impossible to put someone down unless you get the stun from finishers.

secondly for environments that require more "advanced" AI; tag, MiTB, rumbles, etcetc - the AI simply hasn't been programmed well to handle them. the AI is quite proactive for instance in tag, breaking up pins, which is good. but, it means the AI should be more aware it needs to put both opponents down before a successful finish can happen, which it isn't.

anyway i just wanted to ramble about the game a bit, good shit with the first 2k22 show, OP.

how it works is you get a base head, chest, waist, upper arm, forearm, thigh, calf and feet parts then you overlay clothing textures on those to get it to look how you work.

It took a while but I believe I finally understand what is making me check out from these threads, and the show in general. Last year when some random fag on /jp/ floated the idea of making hololive members wrestle, it was a shitpost that no one really expected would take off. When OP actually delivered and streamed that fateful stream 0 we had a good laugh, we celebrated 4chan OC, it was beautiful. I certainly enjoyed it when it became a regular thing, it was something to look forward to. I liked it when HFZ became the catalyst for other anons' creativity when people started talking about intros or custom titantrons. I became invested in HFZ as something to watch to shoot the shit with anons while watching jank wrestling in a shitty video game stream.

Fast forward to today I really don't know how I feel about HFZ anymore. I felt everything peaked during the Coco arc, the promos were kino, the matches were exciting, you didn't know what to expect. Now I feel like promos are just thinly veiled shillposting for (You)s and recognition, it's not just ELFS, really. Notice how before all the promos were only either "made by ELFS" or "made by Anonymous". When was the last time there was a promo that was "made by Anonymous"? When was the last time I felt I could participate and enjoy these threads without having a mention of some members of a Discord clique that I don't even care about? I really can't remember.

Thank you for all the memories and the fun, OP. You can be sure that I'll remember all the goods times we had, but I'm gonna stop watching HFZ now. It's just not fun anymore. I never watched livestreamers before vtubers, but a big part of my enjoyment comes from being able to be part of a massive faceless crowd but now it feels like the focus has become less about the show where everyone of us is faceless and has instead become about making an identity and being known in the threads. It's not for me.

I agree somewhat, but everyone and anyone is allowed to make promos/fanart or anything, its just the fact that its a small group of people that have made these promos so far is the truth since making them is hard work, if you look at TFR you will see 0 people making promos, at most some fanart but thats it, its because it's a difficult thing to do and takes time. so because there is a small group of people making fanart and fan content, its inevitable people come up with names for them, like "archiveanon" and "sheetanon". not because they wanted to be named for attention, it just happens naturally by those in the thread.
as for the discord I think it's fine if people want to get together to make stuff more coherently, but yes I do agree that the constant focus on said discord and people does take away from the thread quality. it doesn't help that there's constant threads up for a stream that is up maybe once every few weeks at this point, especially when HFZ had weekly streams, there was literally 3 threads allowed per week. now people just dont know what to talk about, not that they need to talk about anything, better to let something rest a while than try and keep a thread alive with offtopic namefagging and ritualposting just for the sake of there being a thread. The people in these threads are bored right now since OP's schedule is irregular and most of the real discussion is on working around the jankiness of 2K22 which not many people want to even try. Then /hfz/ put over /HiRyS/, and so, the team that was almost eliminated went to on to win the tournament. YabaiRyS, HoloFightZ's own version of IRyS, specifically requested by the managers, won the Golden Ball and managed to score against the fucking final boss. The commentators were praising /hfz/'s showmanship and storyline-weaving well after their elimination - of course the wrestling thread would know a thing or two on how to put on a good show.
