Just wondering how often do you anons watch the stars' stream? I'm currently in college and I find myself lacking the time to catch up on VODs let alone catching streams live. On the rare chance that I do have free time to catch a stream I will be too tired to focus and just fall asleep midway. I feel so guilty every time I say I support the stars where I can't even find the time to watch their streams.

I live in the hell timezone, so if a stream is happening as I fall asleep I'll put it on my TV with the audio off. If it's a stream idea I really want to support, I'll wake up and do the same thing. While subs would help them getting pushed by the algo what they truly need is better viewer retention. Right now most of their subs are pity subs given by western "fans" because they're "underrated", but they never stayed to watch their streams or vods. They need to get people who actually want to watch their content, and unfortunately that's not easy to do. Roberu is currently the only one that can consistently get more than 1k viewers on his normal stream, sometimes even hitting 2k with his Powerwash streams. The rest need something special to push for those numbers, and even then it's only Izuru and Astel who can reach 1k+ without some event going on (like birthday/anniversary/3D stream), and Aruran has the occasional high viewership streams only to fall back as the least viewed Star after a couple of days, like how it happened with the foreign exchange streams, the blue axolotl arc and his 24 hour New Years stream.

The issue with Ollie is that she is a sperg who doesn't hide at all her wish to push some forced holopro unity in a lot of her content. It also doesn't help that she is a controversial person and that she has a tendency to associate with bad apples as long as they're a bit famous. Also, her fanbase is not the best one to have in your chat if you see what I mean (twitch-lite).
You will not see someone complaining about Iofi who is similar to her because she is both supportive enough while staying subtle/tame enough that it doesn't bother both stars/holos fanbases.
Also, zoombie often leak behind the scenes shit that fuels a lot beggars, while iofi's fans are super disciplined in comparison.

Nijisanji also has girls who would rather no collab with guys, but they put those difference behind for big collabs because they know it's better for everyone if they work as a unit. Them making a big deal ouf of getting everyone for the Sports Fes but leaving the stars out will always stand out as the biggest dick move in the franchise. Would it really kill them to just treat Holostars as part of the family, that's why things like the Expo banner rub me the wrong way, it's like "OMG SUCH UNITY" and then the next big event rolls over and no one invites the stars

One particular thing she did which rubbed me very wrong, and the others in this thread can chime in if they agree, was invite Baelz spontaneously into her Apex collab with Rob. Son was one of the more careful stars around the girls for a long while, and notable so around festival who would often try to get quite close to them. Due to his past traumas (iirc) Rob would be far more likely to be uncomfortable with collabing with the girl that seems to have an open crush on him, but luckily he has proper charisma and rolled with it well. That's not to mention the biggest problem of her using the opportunity to practically openly ship the two and "wingman"ed for Bailz for most of the video, as you can see from all of the hellish clips and fan art it generated, creating a headache for the rat and speculatively increasing Rob's paranoia.

They don't have many options left and it's not only up to them wanting to team up, the teammates need to be interested in tournament as well. Probably the rest of the Stars who played on past tournament (Aruran, Roberu, Rikka and I believe Temma) weren't interested this time. That makes it practically impossible for Izuru since his networking sucks and the only other person he ever played Apex with was Meika, who's Master.
