Gawr Gura is a real girl.

She was born in Atlantis 9000 years ago and recently became a VTuber with Hololive Production. She is a human girl, but also a shark. She has arms, legs, and hands, just like a human, in addition to a tail, like a shark. She grew up watching Hatsune Miku, and her dream is to perform alongside her one day. She likes playing video games, especially rhythm games. She has parents who love her very much. She sings for her fans and works hard to bring them happiness. Her best friends are Ame, Ina, Calli, and Kiara, who are all also real girls. She likes spending time with them online, and longs for the day when she will meet them in person.

Last weekend, she performed at Holofes “Link your Wish” at the Makurahi Messe International Exhibition Hall in Japan. She was there, in person, the same way Yagoo, the drummer, and the keyboardist were all there, in person. She saw with her own two eyes a sea of blue lights, each one held by a fan, when she performed her hit single “Reflect.”

She smiles, laughs, cries, hugs, and dreams, the same way all of us do, and her deepest desire is to make her fans proud.
