There's definitely alot of truth to that.

I would however suggest that it's less akin to a relationship between a break-up and more Mori choosing her Career on a competency basis (Just doing more Songs) rather than developing social connections (Actually getting to know her co-workers). Focusing on the business of Hololive and using it to accelerate her career rather than spirit of what we the fans actually enjoy. She could never do another song again and still be genuinely entertaining to watch. But that's not how she views herself.

Karen's rushing headlong into what we might define as a movie trope, where she pursues her work at the cost of everything else - it's actually quite the Japanese thing to do after-all. Hololive/Cover can clearly see this and in part it's got much to do with how the woman views herself. She's found her niche after spending months/years in Japan likely barely scraping by, but with her work ethic she's now at that point where she's likely going to experience severe burnout in the future. She's running for her dream, and it'll possibly be only when she's obtained it will she see be able to find if it was something she actually wanted.
