I haven't done anything all week due to diverse circumstances, I'm so mad.

What are everyone's thoughts on collating a list of /here/ artists, riggers, clippers, and so on; so that we can have a smaller circle that vet each other, and means we can ensure nobody's gonna get fucked on pricing

I kinda just posted this without an ulterior motive, he does say in the thread that Live2D comes in all shapes and complexities, he obviously can't say "oh what i'm doing is pointless and nobody should get this", because it undermines is own work and effort put into the whole thing, but i think he raises a valid point where complexity and model quality both can raise the prices. You can choose where to invest in based on your preferences. My model is 3D which raises the base-price but has no animations / toggles because at the time of making the model it wasn't required (I wanted it for VR chat) and i never felt like i needed it, because the character is kinda based on a dead-inside kinda dry humor personality.

The price might be justified for the work put into it, but i do agree it might not be justified for the use you get out of it. I'm sure for vei it was more important to get something she's happy with and not because its economically a good decision.

From experience, it's better to get a ref sheet for your model, it's specially good if you want to commission art to someone else since the artist can use it to draw your model's art. Some artists even request ref sheets from the get go when making live2d models because creating a character is a lengthy process. Also if the ref shit is good it can also be used for your 3d model.

From checking his portfolio, he doesn't seem to do specific rigging for the legs, the leg movement is the bare minimum, but everything else seems fine. Maybe ask him if he charges extra for xyz2 which is the leg independent rigging.

I think it's pointless to solely stream on Youtube, as it's evident the amount of people watching streams there who aren't kids watching Cocomelon or people watching Twitch-refugees with multi-million dollar contracts is extremely low in comparison to Twitch, which is also where a majority of community support is as well which is another thing that matters for streaming. Streaming to both is absolutely fine, in fact it's what Kabhaal did.

One thing he said that stood out to me is the fact he said he'd never make the full move to Twitch until he knew he could get Partner immediately and I'm fairly sure he did wait until he had those numbers. afaik his Twitch wasn't monetized at all outside of paypal donos until he made the move, it was all over on YT.

I'm a 10-20 CCV streamer for years now, can't seem to grow no matter how much I upgrade my stream. I applied to NIJI since I have a lot of skills that actually make me a good candidate (fluent jp, can sing, voice act, good video/image editor, pro apex player) and my app was pretty professional. But since I don't have any twitter following they didn't even look at my video.

I'm losing confidence and not sure what to try next. Been doing solo rank in apex to master and I'll hop on the OW2 bandwagon. I love streaming a lot so I'll do it regardless but I also need to think of my future. Anyone have any tips for growing?

For starters, work on that. Your skillset is wasted if you get numberfiltered before you can show those skills off.
Also, your years of streaming are wasted if all you did was stream. A streamer's growth happens mostly off stream.
Read the twitter networking and social media branding guides in the OP, watch Ludwig's streamer advice videos, and put in your reps.

That's fair. The main reason I never made any other content is because all of my peers (even the ones who blew up) never did it either.

Most apex players blow up by either playing apex tournaments or pred race. Personally had bad luck in those areas because of people that keep bailing on me.

In either case I don't want to resort to being lazy, so I'll do it properly. Hopefully the YT/TikTok will be enough though.
