I think that I would have to go back to the drawing board regarding my playstyle in this situation. If someone were to receive, say, 950 million out of nowhere, it turns the trading more so into an endeavor of scale, where doing more 'good' trades is better than only doing 'the best' trades, in absolute terms.

That 950 million once invested should turn into ~70-80 million per week, so you need to get better acquainted with multicoining in particular, as well as starting to think much more about long-term strategy besides a short-term trading approach. You can now allow yourself to accumulate coins slowly to "burn" them whenever they spike, thus not missing out opportunities even from spikes you would not have expected.

I'd say that the opportunity cost for not holding those coins /when/ they do spike is much greater than what you would have lost on dividends. You fall into those traps only if you hold a substantial amounts of them.

Take Iroha for example - during her last spike, you could have easily sold ~400 coins for ~3,000-5,000$ profit per coin. And this is with multicoin. This is much more than the dividends would have brought you. Keeping 200-300 of each coin would tie up just ~25% of your total net worth, but greatly increase your trading income since you can keep those coin buffers for a long time.

Depends on the day's circumstances; don't diversify your trades for the sake of diversifying. If the market really only has 2 good deals that day then only multi those 2 good deals. If the entire market is red then multi all the deals you see fit. I think the essence of the advice is you can now consider deals you wouldn't have taken before (buying smaller reds for lower profits) and strengthening deals you would've taken anyway (higher multis on coins you would've multied anyway).

I think people are getting too caught up on smart fandead's trap thing. Trap coins become an issue over time, since they are slowly accumulated and can't be easily dumped. Personally, I think it's just a low number of buyers in general. Other than Roboco and Nabi: Coco, Pochi and to an extent even Azki, aren't being hit by the deflation wave as hard, if at all, compared to every other coin on the market. Overbought probably only hits after a certain threshold of buyers that these coins never seem to reach, and so the price just plain goes up.
If this is the case, Roboco and Nabi in particular may have hit a "Goldilocks zone" of buyers that exists just under whatever that threshold is, leading to a bizarrely well-optimized upward trajectory in price. At least, better optimized than Coco/Pochi/Azki.

Well, yes, the question is always about the proportions of dividends-yielding coins to other coins. My wallet gets ~85% of its dividends just off 5 coins (used to be ~90-95%, but the dividend meta calmed down so I switched my playstyle). That being said, a lower-ranked player shouldn't have much difficulty liquidating those positions whenever necessary - it only becomes a problem when they are in the thousands, and thus one cannot quickly convert those coins into liquid.

Also, regarding Nabi and overbought... it is quite interesting. She was mostly free-floating due to very low views/subs numbers (since she unlisted all the videos but three), which in turn might mean that overbought either has a component that takes in just the number of buys, doesn't trigger in some circumstances, or what I find the more likely explanation, it scales with the adjustment value - due to her low numbers and small swings, that was always quite small, so if overbought was multiplied by it somehow (and it just "trends" towards the "real" adjustment value, according to honk) she'd be more or less free-floating.

That being said, I haven't actually looked at the data too hard, these are just some shower ideas about what might be the cause.

Cloudflare app on mobile is not only DNS but also a true VPN, meaning you connect to their VPN with uses their DNS. CF is big enough to have its own internet infrastructure and the fibers gov can't limit it. afaik its a free 1GB VPN, then it goes to DNS only mode (read more about CF WRAP+ somewhere if you want to know more)

1.) Read the OP. Really. Please.

2.) Understand that most people posting here have their net worths in the billions, so the strategies they are discussing (dividends, anything long-term) is geared for the end-game. New player experience is very different.

3.) Don't be afraid to ask stuff in the thread. If you have a question about how a certain game mechanic works, you'll get a couple of well-formulated answers. Just don't ask for specific trade advice too much, since people eventually get bored, but you'll likely get a response sometimes.

4.) Don't, and I repeat, DON'T multicoin. It's not stated clearly enough but the taxes on those transactions are debilitating - normally, you pay 4.5% tax on purchase with 1x and 0% tax on sell with 1x. On something like 5x, buy tax is 22.5% /per coin/, while sell tax at 5x is 15% per coin. It cuts into your profits A LOT, and is reserved for when you have enough funds that you can't spend them just by 1x.

5.) Do your reps. In the OP, you'll find holo.poi, which after 00:00 GMT (or, well, several hours after it) will show the scraped Youtube API numbers for the next day. This means that you have several hours where you KNOW what the next day's views are going to be! Compare them with yesterday's views, and try to guess which coins will adjust up!

6.) Trade broadly. The greatest advantage newfags have is that they can quickly shift positions/liquid around. Every day at 13:00 GMT "adjustments" happen where Youtube's API numbers are converted into gains or losses of value. You can quickly sell things that went into green and buy things that went into deep red. Shifting your net worth day-by-day is an amazing way to have 20-30% returns every day when you're just starting out. That being said...

7.) Don't excessively trade intra-day. I know some new players lost a lot of their net worth buying into coins and then selling them the same day, which usually takes out the 4.5% tax with it.
