I don't think I mind that they exist so long as they don't make fun of their fan base behind closed doors (hard to tell which ones do or don't do that though). Personally for me I don't do GFE anymore because it would make me happy for a bit but then I'd crash and become depressed. So I'd say if you want to watch GFE then proceed with caution unless you're ok with the idea of someone that you know is pretending to like you (as well as everyone else as well).
