babi cage project is coming along nicely. i got a bunch of cheap moving blankets (they are 500g/m2 so a little on the thicker side) and they look ok too. I'll go at it tomorrow and get those hooks on the ceiling and then i should at the very least get rid of any reverb that might have existed.

I've posted this before, but I do my speaking reps in the most schizo way possible. By watching a (non-vtuber) streamer that's doing IRL or react content and reacting along with them and replying to things they say. Azu, i know that you can do this, you put in a ton of effort in your design throughout a lot of time, maybe some things didn't go as planned but you just need to learn from your mistakes and chill out a bit more, there is no good reason to beat yourself up over it infinitely, you are only human (human-cat?) after all and it's natural to make mistakes at the start (even if they may have been avoidable)
I would suggest opening up a second channel with random letters just to stream test and see how it works, sometimes it truly is hard to see how it will run until it actually happens

Yes. But the owner was a TBA and went on a power trip controlling the dozen or so chuubas. He never streamed himself but would record logs of everything the aspies said in the Discord and even had a bot wipe the channels every 24 hours so only he had logs. Every chuuba who was a party of lost all motivation to stream because the /asp/ discord provided the social feedback they were looking for any stagnated. Now it's dead and no one posts there.

I tried my best to keep dead air to a minimum, but League can be a bit taxing on mental real-estate to play. I also think I managed to be much more energetic this time around, especially with chat messages to bounce off of. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is the reverb on my mic, I don't really know how to fix it, and putting a sock over the mic only made my voice sound muffled

i guess what i noticed as a bit of a difference between today's stream and the other two is that you seemed more focused on the game, which makes sense as cruelty squad is a much more active game. because of this, there were times where you were playing the game and didn't have too much to say about what was happening. compare this to the other two streams i saw where the games almost felt secondary to your ramblings with chat; with YGO you had a lot to talk about and climbing almost felt like an afterthought; when you talked about the game you very quickly (or at least, it felt quick) seemed to be able to transition back to other conversation topics while there were more lulls in today's stream. that's not necessarily a bad thing, having a bit of downtime for both you and the chat to think for a few seconds isn't bad

Yeah, the original tweets that started the drama (as well as the more psycho women to get involved) were using the term "all men" quite literally, or "all male vtubers" in some cases since it got them more impressions. my 2070 basically has no issues with anything in 1080p. 1080p by and large has been perfectly optimized to a point where you can just never upgrade and play everything mid at 60+ fps with a 2070 or equivalent. if you are a bit of a sweat you can turn everything low for 100+fps for the refresh rate. havent upgraded in years
