I am pretty curious about what everyone's ideal VTuber would look like, as well as general opinions, so I've put some basic questions together to be answered if you have the time to do so. Feel free to skip any questions that you don't care or have very strong opinions about.
You can also just rant about what you want and don't want to see in a VTuber without sticking to the questionnaire, I'm just interested in reading what people have to say.

1) What would you wish to see in a chuuba's personality? Do you enjoy it when they play into a character, or do you wish their attitude when streaming would overall be what comes naturally to them?

2) What are some aesthetic choices you wish to see in a chuuba? It can be anything: general theme/species, colors, art style, clothing fashion, facial features and body type, etc...

3) What are some tropes or traits that would filter you instantly?

4) Would you not mind chuubas that have few to no true skills, as long as they have a personality you enjoy? Are there any specific or niche interests/hobbies/skills that would automatically reel you in?

5) Do you find it annoying or entertaining when a vtuber engages in lewd discussions often?

6) Do you think a chuuba being open about strong emotions & personal life experiences is admirable, or would you prefer they keep deep topics to a minimum?

7) How would you feel to find out that your ideal chuuba is /here/? Would you prefer they make no references to anything related to this board?

8) Do you want an outgoing vtuber that collabs with others regularly, or would you prefer it if they mostly kept to themselves/at least out of prominent social circles?

9) If your ideal chuuba were to collab with or be close friends with another vtuber of the opposite sex, even if they are quite obviously not into each other, would you be put off by the interaction?

10) Would you want a chuuba that is heavily flirtatious and provides a semi-realistic GFE for their audience, one that only flirts sometimes with everyone, or would you prefer they don't put up the illusion of intimacy at all?

11) If you were to learn that their roommate is unattractive by your standards, would you still watch and support them?

>1) What would you wish to see in a chuuba's personality? Do you enjoy it when they play into a character, or do you wish their attitude when streaming would overall be what comes naturally to them?
Characters are always best.

>2) What are some aesthetic choices you wish to see in a chuuba? It can be anything: general theme/species, colors, art style, clothing fashion, facial features and body type, etc...
Anything that isn't ugly or TOO generic.

>3) What are some tropes or traits that would filter you instantly?
GFE

>4) Would you not mind chuubas that have few to no true skills, as long as they have a personality you enjoy? Are there any specific or niche interests/hobbies/skills that would automatically reel you in?
I want real weeb chuubas who didn't just drop into vtubing because it gained popularity.

>5) Do you find it annoying or entertaining when a vtuber engages in lewd discussions often?
It's pretty cringe.

>6) Do you think a chuuba being open about strong emotions & personal life experiences is admirable, or would you prefer they keep deep topics to a minimum?
Sticking to a character is best, but it could be entertaining if they worked irl stories in somehow.

>7) How would you feel to find out that your ideal chuuba is /here/? Would you prefer they make no references to anything related to this board?
/here/ pandering chuubas are consistently 100% shit. If they are /here/ I don't want to know.

>8) Do you want an outgoing vtuber that collabs with others regularly, or would you prefer it if they mostly kept to themselves/at least out of prominent social circles?
If they're able to collab with an entertaining and proven good circle then it shows they have what it takes to make it like they have. If their collab partners are consistently terrible or they can't keep them because they cause drama then they aren't a good entertainer.

>9) If your ideal chuuba were to collab with or be close friends with another vtuber of the opposite sex, even if they are quite obviously not into each other, would you be put off by the interaction?
I wouldn't mind that much if they had good synergy, but I've watched CCVs halve compared to streams without a male collab partner.

>10) Would you want a chuuba that is heavily flirtatious and provides a semi-realistic GFE for their audience, one that only flirts sometimes with everyone, or would you prefer they don't put up the illusion of intimacy at all?
GFE is for losers.

>11) If you were to learn that their roommate is unattractive by your standards, would you still watch and support them?
Yes. I have no interest in their personal life and in my eyes they're just the character they play.

This reads like an /asp/ie trying to "stealthily" ask for advice but I'll bite.
>1) What would you wish to see in a chuuba's personality? Do you enjoy it when they play into a character, or do you wish their attitude when streaming would overall be what comes naturally to them?
I enjoy chuubas that play into kayfabe as long as they put some effort into it. An example of low effort kayfabe would be Mori just sticking "reaper" or "underworld" in front of normal things; she doesn't have a family she has a "reaper family", she doesn't live in Japan she lives in "underworld Japan". A certain amount of playing a character is expected with that, but anything too far from their natural personality would be difficult to maintain for a long time so the character should be at least somewhat based in their real self.
>2) What are some aesthetic choices you wish to see in a chuuba? It can be anything: general theme/species, colors, art style, clothing fashion, facial features and body type, etc...
Anything that's not "animal but anime girl" or "evil dark god of all creation" chuunishit. I do like religion and mythology though, so something based on more obscure mythological creatures would be nice, especially if it's something that's native to the chuuba's home country (ex. an Ogopogo chuuba from Canada or a baba yaga chuuba from Eastern Europe). Failing that, simple is best. Having a unique concept won't save you if your personality sucks.
>4) Would you not mind chuubas that have few to no true skills, as long as they have a personality you enjoy?
As long as she's constantly trying to make streams interesting I don't mind if she fails at things a lot.
>Are there any specific or niche interests/hobbies/skills that would automatically reel you in?
I like chuubas that sing.
>5) Do you find it annoying or entertaining when a vtuber engages in lewd discussions often?
Now and then is fine, especially in the context of a comedic bit. Leaning on it too much is a sign of someone that has nothing interesting to say.
>6) Do you think a chuuba being open about strong emotions & personal life experiences is admirable, or would you prefer they keep deep topics to a minimum?
Shut the hell up about your personal life.
>7) How would you feel to find out that your ideal chuuba is /here/? Would you prefer they make no references to anything related to this board?
Being /here/ is no different from egosearching on twitter. As long as they don't make their /here/ness a core part of their content I don't care.
>8) Do you want an outgoing vtuber that collabs with others regularly, or would you prefer it if they mostly kept to themselves/at least out of prominent social circles?
Networking and collabs are a natural part of being a vtuber. I like seeing the chuubas I follow make new friends.
>9) If your ideal chuuba were to collab with or be close friends with another vtuber of the opposite sex, even if they are quite obviously not into each other, would you be put off by the interaction?
Yes.
>10) Would you want a chuuba that is heavily flirtatious and provides a semi-realistic GFE for their audience, one that only flirts sometimes with everyone, or would you prefer they don't put up the illusion of intimacy at all?
Occasional fanservice (kisses, "I love you guys", etc.) is nice as long as it's clear that it's just fanservice. Outright GFE "we're married" stuff goes right in the trash.
>11) If you were to learn that their roommate is unattractive by your standards, would you still watch and support them?
Ideally they would have good enough opsec that I wouldn't learn about their roommate at all.
