Here's a crazy idea, the relevance of members mean different things to different chuubas. Random greys being given access to what was considered a sanctified ground for the true fans I can definitely see rubbing some of them the wrong way.

Ina clearly thinks a lot about chat quality and what she wants her stream experience to be like, and greys coming in being loud backseating children etc are detrimental to the experience of not just herself but of other viewers who don't want loud children being obnoxious shitters. The only two who really have that difficulty in EN are Mori and Gura, because they're the 'known' ones and most often pushed to the forefront. Being in a membership of all Holos for a few months, I actually can confirm that this is true. Some put out videos every two weeks or month, others only post about how their recording went and then neglecting members stuff for months. Others post a lot what seems to be personal stuff going on, some others just shitpost everyday. But streams are really rare.
Now I don't know how other cooperate chuubas handle their member stuff, but I can imagine with Indies its (probably) a lot more personal when they to decide to do a members only stream and they rather not have some random soul barging in there who just happen to pass by.
