no it doesnt, because there you are already using the premise that Miko could carry nearly all her viewerbase from youtube to twitch platform.
See how the live viewers are almost the same on both sites; however, those twitch streams were guerilla ones made with no previous warnings, and with no way of Miko communicating with her fanbase based on youtube that she`d suddenly be changing to twitch; or also that most of her casuals, who make her live numbers fluctuate from 12k to nearly 18k lives at youtube, would actively and randomly take the effort to suddenly check her twitter, which was where she said she was doing a twitch stream (youtube was bugged those 2 days).

Some kinda viewbot purge and/or algorithm change seems more likely for a drop that extreme.

I just think there haven't been any good reasons for EN to incline. For example, just talking about stuff after the Dec 2020 cliff, you can tell from >>2619058 when Haachama was doing her horror shit, or when Kiara did her re-debut. You can also look at Suisei and Coco, who have clear patterns of spike > recline > repeat over the years.

I'd be willing to bet that Calli should see a spike for her Apr 2020 numbers (April Fools + EP/BD + other colabs) assuming nothing dumb happens in the next 2 weeks.

Something I noticed watching Pekora vs Botan stream last day, is that the live views kept rising and dropping on a clear pattern. Everytime they were on the wait for a new game period, the live would drop to 23-24k, and as soon as they started the actual game rounds, it would go up to around 28k, every single time.
I dont really believe something like 4k people (nearly 20% of the audience) kept constantly leaving and coming back to the stream at the exact time games would start or end, there`d be no way to know it, nor there`d be a reason for you to keep coming back and out again every single time, when you know there will be another round.
Im thinking this fluctuation in the numbers has something to do that "spam viewer" bullshit. When out of the game, the viewers` chat activity would fall, maybe they`d browse a second window while waiting; and when a new round started, they`d tab right back, and get more active on chat again.
Im thinking youtube doesnt count as live viewers those kinds of viewers who are not sending messages in chat and/or doesnt have the stream as their first tab.

I see that happening all the time with non Hololive streamers as well, I think people just check into the streams every now and then to see if anything particularly interesting is happening and the views retained depends on whether or not there is.
