It got fixed in the version uploaded 12 hours ago. The coins basically start counting up as soon as you pick the box up, and only stop once it is opened. You should see the coin count not start from 0 when you open the box. Pic related is 3 minutes of waiting.

Yeah I've got the old version if I wanted to but this feels to cheesey for me. For now I'm not really focused on getting everything unlocked and everyone to +20, don't really want to burn out. Dragonfire is good if you're struggling and need to clear one direction to move in, but it's directional. I don't know if being very active with dragonfire is better than sitting there with elite cooking, but elite cooking is way more chill for farming.

Mumei best for gold farming (or clearing stage mode if you're really bad and struggling) because of her personal weapon, skills, and consistency. Bae probably has the best damage output, and far and away the best special. Unfortunately with the game as-is that's not really useful. Ina and Gura are the best for surviving forever in endless mode. Sana is good for 1hp mode but you're going to struggle to get to 30 minutes regardless.

Calli is the worst character, and I think there's pretty wide agreement on this. I think Kiara is the second worst. The others just sit in the middle and it's hard to draw lines between them.

Flattening Board 100%. This removes Breathe-In Asacoco from the possibilities.
Elite Cooking means your third is going to be BL Fujoshi, both of which are good. You can cap it off with Fan Beam which is middling.
MiComet itself is good but it means BL and Spider Cooking have no combinations left. You have to go for Dragon Fire and Idol Concert, both of which are worse.

Calli's scythe is the worst weapon, period, and it gets worse the more you upgrade it. Her special is not the worst, because the crit applies to all weapons (not that I've tested it a lot) and it does kill bosses quickly. Her skills are not the worst but one of them only buffs the scythe and is worthless. Workaholic is a good enough buff, at least better than Kiara's running buff because it's not cancer to play. Of all the characters she's the one who needs a good supporting weapon early on the most or you'll fall behind as you struggle to stay alive and get early kills. This doesn't apply as much late game once you have a build going, but between the RNG everyone suffers from and her own weaknesses she's the least consistent character.

That being said I don't think she's so bad that she's not fun enough to play. It's just that of all the characters she is clearly the weakest.

They give you skills to be dodgy while making your enemies die behind you, but your sword doesnt really do enough to keep the ones in front of you dead either. Jack of multiple trades and master of none is what I could call kiara in this.

Damage is more important than your first survivability item. A single level of Spider Cooking means you can just walk into every Shrimp on the map and they die and not you.
Once you're melting them, then you find your survivability kit.

I know some people want more weapons but between skills, stat ups, and everything else the level up is totally flooded. If more weapons or items are added I would like to see item sets where during that run you only get to pick items from the set. This would be a way to restrict the randomness so you don't have the VS problem where you unlock so much garbage that you can't play with any of the good stuff anymore.

If you think that's fast you should play Bae. Sadly the game doesn't really reward overkill amounts of damage like Bae has right now. She's throws out way more damage than any other character and attack scales extra with her; with enough crit, each +8% attack upgrade actually becomes +32% with her quad damage crits (or is it +40%?). But stage mode is too easy and endless mode forces you to focus on sustain rather than damage.

I just found out what this anon meant.
What happened was, I used Mumei's skill and the dead enemy would have dropped an anvil, but since the skill deleted the drops, the anvil got spawned and then removed. This makes it look like the ground title is sparkling somehow.

Sorry if it's hard to see, I took this screenshot in game and only looked at it after finishing my run.

Alright tried and beat Stage mode with Kronii again finally. Speed+Haste+Crit build with her is hilariously stupid and fun but boy does it heavily rely on her Perfection Passive. Keeping Perfection up is literally the difference between her being being up there with Gura, Mumei, and Ina and her being bottom tier with Mori it's THAT important for her.

So if you haven't figured it out each of the EN girls are designed to teach basic mechanics of the Game and then how to go on from there. Gura teaches the importance of strafing and how important status buffs and debuffs can be. Ame teaches about Weapon positioning with her gun only being horizontal and that some passsives may be more important then other with Bubba, indirectly teaching about needing more then just your starting weapon for the game. Ina teaches about picking the good options at the best time with her Turn into Tako ability destroying her XP gains. Kiara teaches about strafing and Kitting with Trailblazer, her multiattack weapon, and Dancer buff. Calli teaches you the importance of enemy position and maintaining set distances with her deadzone, attack debuff, and the fact the sycthe naturally covers a wide 270 area. It also teaches you the importance of picking weapons to comptenstate for characters Ie: Axe or Spider or BL will help take care of the deadzone issue.
It's good game design, and allows for council to have wackier and different design philosophy. Theres a reason everyone picked up on fauna being a heal tank being extremely viable and its due to the game design

Hard damage negation is always more effective than healing the damage you take. Headphones can let you escape from something you normally shouldn't, as will taking pillow shields.

Sana: Probably the best character in the game in my opinion. She LITERALLY cannot be touched once you upgraded her regular weapon and her gravity skill. Not to mention she can also heal herself if RNG allows it, and gains a massive boost as well. Her inane skill allows her to shred basically everything, she is insanely fucking good.

Amelia: Not only Buuba is insanely broken, she can decimate almost every boss quickly with her skill and her OG weapon, assuming you level'd it up. She only lacks a shield, but the fact that you can slow everyone in the map basically negates this disvantage.
Ina: The fact that she can recover HP by doing absolutely nothing is insane, making her a staystill character. Not only that but her tentacles ocuppy a massive amount of space, making her perfect for almost every situation. I placed her lower than Sana because I'm a shitter and I got randomly killed by the horde before Smol Ame appeared.

Bae: I have not fully further played as her but I think she is really good because of her weapon. Need anons to help me here.
Kronii: While her weapon is unreliable as hell, her Perfection skill makes her survive a lot of shit properly, and it scales with her skill as well. I only did one playthrough with her but it seems she is not as good as the others.

Kiara: Her sword range sucks unless you level it up to the max. But her special is really good since it basically pushes everyone and also leaves a trail herself. Combining all of that with MiComet makes it RAIN FAGGOTS, MAKE IT RAIN LITTLE BITCHES. Her dancer skill is good but not as good as others.

Mumei: I found her really bad, I have legit no idea how her ultimate works, and I found her also slow as fuck. Neither I have an idea how to chug people with her Civlization skill, and I think her OG weapon sucks as fuck. Prolly some anons can help me here.
IRyS: She basically relies on healing, and I found her original weapon far worse than Mumei's. Not to mention I legit thought her ultimate was good, but holy shit it spreads randomly and it doesn't deal a lot of damage most of the times. I will still fuck her tho.

Kiara's ult has knockback and the flames kiara leaves on the floor slow down enemies, Kiara's shield gives her invincibility without slowing her.

Cali has no CC and no protection, she only has damage, and more damage and more damage, and a crappy weapon

Which refreshes at a rapid pace. I think the 15 second thing is a typo because it seems more like 1.5, though its inconsistent. You normally can't heal faster than enemies can damage, so health is purely a method of pushing your way past enemies to safety, and any extra health means more leeway for escapes.
