As the superchat make its way across her screen, she adds it to her mental tally. Another 2 dollars. In total that is around thirty. For the past 2 hours of broadcast. She stares at the statistics beneath her. 103 live audience present. Not accounted for those using Adblock. Finana briefly turns away from her microphone, taking in a deep breath and regain composure. The zatsudan broadcast is almost nearing the end.

With a smile she, the fishy girl thanks her viewers for tuning in for the night. Although there were not many in the live chat thanking back. Not even an emoticon. Swallowing spit to hide an awkward stutter, Finana gives her audience one last update on her next project. Enthusiastically hoping it would garner a single response. There was one; a poop emoji.

With that, she disconnects her broadcast and turn in for the day. Routinely, she grabs her pillow and screams into it. Sobbing profusely, soaking the fabric in salty moisture. 'Where did it go wrong?' she thought to herself. Two years had passed since that horrible day. It was a blunder that almost cost her everything; her career, her relationships, even her own self worth if there were any left after she had made a fool out of herself. What was the blunder in question again? She had forgotten. All she knew was that it involved Millie, Chibidoki, and possibly a few substances in-between takes. She tried her hardest to bury the memory within the darkest crevice of her once lust addled brain.

To the internet however, they say otherwise. The internet never forgets. No matter how many takedowns she filed against those who reupload the VOD of that incident, it will always come back to haunt her like a mourning spectre. The staff over at Anycolor no longer deemed it necessary to comply to her demands to censor every reupload of that mistake of an incident.

As for her co-workers? It's been 5 months since she last texted anyone from Nijisanji. In fact the only communication she has made with her organization for the past year is the occasional e-mail from her manager, though warden is the better suited role, listing every single mistake she had made in every stream. NIJIFES had just rolled by last week. As expected, she was not invited. Her face printed on merchandise and posters. Her presence null. Anycolor has been cutting their losses by pretending Finana does not even exist. Merely using her likeness to sell off the last remaining overstock of her merchandise.

A ring. A notification. An e-mail from her warden. Not a single word. Only a 12 page PDF. Finana pauses as she feels her heart sinking deeper into her mattress.

Why are there this many pages? What sort of blunder had she done this time? She mentally recalls and replays the entirety of her newest broadcast from beginning until the end. She swore not a single blacklisted sentence escaped her lips this time. As her finger shakes, she opens the e-mail. As the file loads, her eyes scan at the header. A letter from Anycolor; 'Notice of Instant Termination & Summon for Defamatory Reparations'.

For a split second, she could have felt as if a heartstring inside her heart twists and snapped. No. Not yet. She has to be strong. 'You already lost plenty before, what is there to lose now?' she thought. With a steady pace, Finana mentally runs over the basics of the document, starting with the notice. With every word, her heart beats faster, her fingertips warming up with each pulse, sweat seeping from her palms until she reached the final period; by the time she receives this document, Finana Ryugu has officially been declared terminated from Nijisanji and is no longer an employee of Anycolor or any of its subsidiaries. Hastily, nearly dropping her phone, Finana opens up Nijisanji's official Twitter page. True to their words, there it is. A notice of her termination in bold. A legitimate action. No longer a silent threat. To Finana, the shock was just the beginning.

The post was not made in the past minute of her receiving the e-mail. No. It was posted prior to that. Much, much prior. 2 hours before now, exactly at the beginning of her newest stream. She had been officially declared terminated throughout the whole broadcast. Yet not a single audience, nor even her colleagues, mentioned anything about it. As for the post's statistic, it was the final nail in the coffin for her expectations. Only a couple retweets, a meager number of messages, and on the contrary there were plenty of likes. Up to five digits worth of users saw the notice as a positive.

It was a shut and close case. The inference to be made was obvious. Everyone wanted her gone for good.

For two years she has been running on fumes within Nijisanji. Not a single message from her co-workers, her sponsorships revoked, her income reduced to a meager 20% of what she usually makes, her fans, followers, all but dust in the wind. She tried pleading with the management for a second chance, to turn the ship around and clean up her reputation within Nijisanji. She got one, but at a price. Anycolor was willing to let her stay in Nijisanji. Only in-name. De-facto, she no longer received any form of support from the management, her name blacklisted from the public system, there was nowhere else for her to go. They merely provided a warden to keep her in-check, chained to a contract that made her nothing more than an accessory than a valuable asset.

And that contract is up. With Anycolor demanding everything in return. As per the second subject of the notice, Finana will find herself legally bound to pay Anycolor up to a whopping twenty-thousand dollars monthly as reparations for losses. Losses made thanks to her 'defamation' stunt. Finana trembles as the demands bounce inside her skull. Does she have enough in her savings to cover all these payments? No. She only has enough to keep the lights running to keep her stagnating career. The payment due triples the amount she currently has. As for income, she's no longer legitimate for any form of work, even Twitch has her name blacklisted. OnlyFans? No. She spent two years trying to clean up her reputation. She cannot deal with another incident. Even if she starts anew and get a stable income, what other career offers twenty-thousand monthly with all the disgusting blemishes on her portfolio that is not affiliated with shady entertainment industry? None.

As for the alternative to not repay her dues? Anycolor will come to get her in full blood. Literally.

Finana swallows her saliva and inhales slowly, calming herself for just a brief moment. Brief enough for her shaky psyche to regain composure and come up with a last minute ditch effort of a plan.

If blood is what they want, then it is what they will get.

As the evening clouds roll over, Selen stretches her back and let out a relieving sigh. NIJIFES had been a tiring effort, and it still shows. With a smile, the dragon extends her arm and pets Ember on the head. He loves it. Inspecting her camera one last time, Selen double-checks her mental note for any missing steps. Backlight? Done. Camera? Connected. Microphone? Cleared. Ember? Fed.

With only 10 minutes left before the broadcast starts, Selen readies herself to- 'Ding-Dong!'

Was that the doorbell? Confused, she stares back at her draconic companion who is just as surprised as her. Who is coming over this late? Delivery? Not any she could think of. Quickly with no time to lose, Selen makes haste towards the front door. Hoping she gets this over with before the stream starts. As she unlocks the door and opens it, her pupils contract at the sight. It was Finana. Completely underdressed, softly sobbing as tears drip onto the floor. Within a fraction of a second Selen realizes the item she is carrying in her hand. A knife. Her draconic instinct immediately picks up the context and murderous intent.

Immediately she slams the front door on Finana. Pushing herself against the door, not giving her a chance to break in- too late. With a quick thud, Selen fell on the floor. Finana is standing in the doorframe, a shovel in her hand. Standing above the reeling dragon, Finana apologizes before knocking her out with the shovel. It would not be a while until she regains consciousness.

As she wakes up groggily, her senses immediately go on full overdrive. The fuzzy lights entering her eyes, the ringing in her ears are still deafening. What is that horrible smell? Ember? Is that you? Selen tries to recollect her most recent memory. The stream. Yes, she was preparing for a stream when Finana came over and- and... 'This stench... I can't think properly with this scent.' Selen shakes her head, trying her hardest to recalibrate her psyche. The scent is disruptive. The scent of.. 'Is this blood?' As she realizes what the scent was, her fight-or-flight response kicked in, and her consciousness immediately returns.

The first thing she sees is Ember. Locked up in his cage. Frightened. By what exactly? Unknown to Selen, she will regret knowing the answer a few seconds later. Slowly glancing to her left, in the direction of her streaming set-up, she immediately finds the source of that stench.

Finana. Limping in her birthday suit against the camera. Sobbing with ugly moans and demonic wheezes. Selen could feel the the coldness of a banshee's breath running down her spine as she picks up every detail. Finana is covered in wounds and fatal injuries. Ones that struck fear within her. From cuts all over her body, to chunks of flesh and body parts missing from her figure. Swaying around as she moves, Finana's left arm is left dangling only by a mere bone, flesh dripping on the floor.

Screaming in a fit of rage, Finana lowers the camera and gives out a threat. A threat to the audience. Selen's audience. Realizing what she has done, Selen tries to get up. It was at this moment she begins to discover her current state. Her entire body has been strapped down onto her bed. From the neck down, Selen could see ropes and belts, restraining her from getting up. Selen cannot get up and stop Finana. All she could is scream. Hoping somehow the fish snaps out of her manic episode.

Alas to no avail, her pleas fell on non-existing ears. Blood dripping from the side of her head where her ears once were. As Finana continues to insult the audience, she shoves the knife into her left eye socket. Forcefully gouging out her eyeball, pulling it from the optic nerve. In a fit, she threw her eyeball at the PC. Fluids splattering across Selen's workstation. In a demanding tone, Selen orders Finana to stop this act of insanity.

Finana decided it has been long enough. Insisting to her 'fans' it's time for her final show as a Liver. Or in this case, liver. With a quick thrust, Finana buries the knife into her abdomen and tore open her belly. Screaming in excruciating pain with blood expelling from her mouth from pressure. Satisfied with her newly made orifice, Finana throws the knife away and grabs onto the camera. As she staggers onto the floor, she chose to give the audience their well deserved big finale. A final gift from Finana Ryugu.

Soaked in blood, the camera slowly makes its way into Finana's gastrointestinal orifice. Broadcasting every putrid detail of her insides for the world to see. Deeper and deeper the camera goes in, Finana stops wheezing in pain and hunches over. Lying still on the floor.

Selen, tears running down on her face, could not believe what had just happened. All she could do now is plea for Finana to wake up. But it was already too late. Too late for apologies even. The authorities arrive an hour later, freeing her and Ember. As for the stream, Anycolor refused to take down copies of it, a reminder.
