To be honest, neither and both? I didn't really start writing the story with that angle in mind, likely because neither of those are fetishes of mine so it's difficult to make it intentionally erotic.

Just building off of what the other Anon said, I have a good deal of trouble managing past and present tense for these cases. Almost always, when you intend on using present for the majority of the story, keep past tense strictly for events in the past. That sounds simple, but breaking the habit is tough if you're used to writing typical 3rd person past.

As for purple prose: that's usually used to describe overly flowery prose where complex descriptors are used without much regard for diction or mood.

Well buckle up for this one and grab a drink, this'll take a bit. I have

7 arcs for fallout 3, which include fixing the main villain and adding a plot that isn't completely stupid. There are four anime openings and four anime endings for it (in order: Animal by Deco*27/ERROR, Alien, Alien/First Train and Kafka, Laser Beam/iNFeCTioN, Last of Me/MIRA). This includes all of the DLC. I added two new characters, one is a love interest for the MC who gets rescued from Mothership Zeta and the other is a more interesting version of the Mr. Gutsy robot you can pick of as a companion. I've got significant arcs for every single companion as well and by the end 3 of them are dead. I fixed Broken Steel to make it make sense. Autumn returns since I always spare him and to stop you from gaining all the research carried aboard the mobile platform, he uses the nukes carried by those sat towers that Talon Company holes up in. There's a big arc where Talon Company and the Enclave join up and there's a big war and such.

In the Mothership Zeta arc, you receive a special metal skeleton per the experiments. This will become important far down the line. Another thing to note is that as you exit the vault, you found a pipe and use this for a large portion of the story. I have given it the name pipe-chan and it's basically going to be an running gag throughout the series. Other things to know is that you blow up megaton and receive your iconic biker goggles to shield your eyes from the blast.

For New Vegas, it continues on from FO3. I added 2 new characters, one being a officer associated with NCR and the other being a more interesting super mutant than the nightkin you pick up later. Colonel Autumn makes a return with a reason as to how he survived the sacrifice dad makes, but also how he survives the explosion from Broken Steel. This story takes 12 arcs with two anime openings and one anime ending each and the conclusion has not been reached yet, still working on it.

The first two arcs consist of the opening, the liberation of Primm, Nipton and the entire Novac arc. It's revealed that the Lone Wander and the love interest have been separated (she went to NV) and the first half of the story is going to find her. In Primm we pick up the first OC character simply known as the Major. It's openings are Otome Dissection and Melissa. Your biker goggles also now have a hole in them from where you were shot but you don't want to discard them because they hold sentimental value.

The events of Dead Money have a significant role in the story, with Christine and Dog/God now playing crucial roles within the main plot. Christine, by the end of Dead Money, can control the Ghosts with her voice (this will be important later). The openings for Dead Money are Lilium and Love Me, Love Me.

Honest Hearts was completely revamped, keeping only Graham and Daniel the same. It's a big revenge plot By this point we have picked up Veronica and Boone. Veronica has a central roll in this story, defeating Salt Upon Wounds and receiving his special Power Fist. Daniel becomes disillusioned by Grahams violence and leaves on his own. The openings for this are SIGN and Closer.

After this, we reach Black Mountain, pick up Raul, and, since the gang is struggling for money, clear up quarry junction. It is hear that Boone begins to open up about his past but not much headway is gained. The opening for this arc is Misterioso.

Next we reach Freeside. This arc consists of helping the Kings, a schism between the Major's commitment to the NCR and Boone's indifference towards it. We help the kings while avoiding conflict with the NCR, kings reward us and we're invited to the NCR head quarters. We go to the vault with all the greenery, help the King's dog and are finally granted access to New Vegas. Once inside, we're invited to the Lucky 38 and find that the love interest has been here the whole time and that Mr. House was using her as insurance. He tells us about Benny and we have an actual heist sequence rather than just walking right in there. ED-E gets shot and Benny flees with the chip, leaving us with Yes Man. The openings for this arc are Queen of Hearts and O, Light.

The next arc contains the entirety of the events of Old World Blues and a lot of important stuff happens. You find out your survived the gunshot because of the metal skeleton and that now you've been further modified by the scientists at Big MT. This causes you to break down because you don't feel human anymore. You go about Big MT, find the rest of the cast as well as the Stealth Suit Mk.2 which will now give more sarcastic commentary and break Pipe-kun while fighting as well as your iconic biker goggles. The gang splits up to find the other technologies needed to appease the scientists. Veronica receives a new power glove capable of distorting space and there's another iconic scene of you and her using power gloves to defeat the huge scorpion boss.

Love interest is infected with a parasite alien from Mothership Zeta, reminding her of her past and how she was alive in the Alaska Conflict. She was abducted before the bombs fell and now must contend with her old past. The parasite is not hostile and usually helps her, sorta like venom. Boone gets a new sight for his rifle, the Major gets a new shotgun, you make peace with the scientists, get your organs and original skele back and everyone goes back. The opening for this is Falling Down.

In the next arc, we do the side quests. Boone gets his side quest done and we finally get a personal confrontation with the Legion. Boone doesn't die as he expects he should have and now believes he lived to help you. You find out from a captured solider that Benny has taken refuge with Caeser. Due to Boone's hatred of the legion, he states that any deal you make with the Legion will result in him taking vengeance on you. Plans are set in motion to take down the legion. Veronica suggests seeking assistance from the brotherhood. The quest ends without unseating the current leader and the Brotherhood remains locked away to die in obscurity. You willingly go to Caeser, along with Boone, to deal with Benny. In exchange for the chip, Ceaser demands you go down into the bunker with accompanied by his personal guard. You go in, activate the new securitrons, kill his personal guard and Raul becomes critically wounded in the fight. You return to Caeser, attempting to pass this off as an accident. He doesn't believe you and Boone shoots him. You take the chip and make a grand escape.

After this, you plan to assassinate Mr. House. You go back to Big MT to devise a plan in secret. You recieve a new pair of goggles that connect directly to your pipboy and you get a pipe based on the power glove tech that explodes whatever it slams into. Veronica and the Major come up on the elevator, love interests sticks to the roof with the parasite to jump in when needed, while Boone takes the opposite building. Raul stays at big MT to recover. There's an intense scene where Mr. House says his lines after you refuse and after each line it cuts to a different character getting in position and loading their weapons while you're vulnerable. Large fight breaks out, you barely make it out with your life. You kill Mr. House. The openings for this are Jitter Doll and Electrostatic Human.
We open by going back to freeside, meet up with Arcade and uncover the mystery of the big death ray thing in the power plant. Arcade hints at his Enclave past.

Then we come to the events of Lonesome Road. Once you travel through to the end and meet Ulysses at his church, you get that really iconic shot of him staring at a nuclear warhead with a giant flag on it. A fight ensues using only fists. Having relied mostly on your weapons (mainly the revolver and a rifle), as well as your companions, Ulysses handily kicks your ass, saying that while you specialized in fighting amongst others, he has fought alone his whole life and it has made him far stronger than you. New ED-E barges in, you tag team him and win. He expects you to kill him dead but you don't, instead talking him out of it and convincing him to repair the divide.


Things are now heating up at Hoover Dam. War is brewing and the NCR, seeing your record of accomplishments, wishes for you to join them in protecting the president during his visit. You agree, albeit reluctantly, and go to Hoover Dam for the first time, opening with a very pretty shot of the whole place. The assassination attempt succeeds however and you learn "the monster of the east" is coming in Caeser's name, though you don't yet know who this is. War is coming and you must prepare.

The small mini arcs consist of contacting and failing to reason with the Great Khans, killing Cook Cook's group, destroying the Power Gangers, meeting and enlisting the Boomers, and the Enclave Remnants. It is not revealed that the remnants are Enclave until they're all back together to which you, in a fit of rage, demand that Arcade leave. You storm out and its revealed that Autumn is still alive and is now in command of the Remnants. His plans are as of yet unclear. He looks grizzled, now sporting a beard and grey hair.

You return with your group and they each split up. Love interest goes to retrieve Graham, Veronica makes one last pleas to the Brotherhood in a very emotional scene (which fails), the Major seeks aid from the NCR and Boone goes to get the Kings, while you talk with Ulysses. At first he refuses until you reveal your true intentions: to create an independent NV. After an emotional talk, you both return to NV. Graham and Daniel also return, along with a few notable tribe members and the Kings have agreed to keep NV secure in your absence. The stage is set for the final arc. The crew from Dead Money also return, Christian revealing that she can control the Ghosts using her voice. The openings for this are LLL and Panda Hero.

Well it's an interesting setup with two flaws I can point out.
The first is the easier to fix, it's the flow of the prose. That one is fixable by just reading your fic aloud to see the problem yourself and rewording the sentences.
The second is much harder to fix. The first person narration of Ame here really doesn't feel like her. The way you write the prose just doesn't have that feeling of 'Ame' to it. I guess some part of the blame lies in the setting and theme of the fic since it's sort of a double whammy in (justifiably) having Ame be different but there aren't really any moments that make you go "that's Ame".
Other than those two things. It's an interesting read that I'd probably have fun reading more if you make it.

I liked the dialogue in the middle as well as the set up for the sex but the actual sex is kind of disappointing, with it being way to short. Which pretty much just leaves the setup for it being the 'good part', with the bits I found good pretty much being the view point character thinking that this is rather fucked, and the way you didn't use the "They just look like their avatars" trope... even if I'm pretty sure you could have played around with that a bit more.
