I would assume for the same reason AZKi has random profanity and punctuation in her Live names and merch, especially back in the day. It's cool and edgy, which is always marketable. It also has a clear visual theme which was easy for them to build off of for the new costumes, they've always tried to frame Kaf as cool and mysterious, and Japan has always had a love for the occult/black magic. Just my logic train instead of being built on anything actually published, though.

"Witch" and "Magic" are the names of two of Kaf's songs, Kamitsubaki probably wants to do something with the theme per their concept of narrative-based music going forward. I assume this is Kaf's chuuni witch name; dunno if the others have them too.

We're all a bunch of weebs or we wouldn't be here, but that brings up an interesting question. Does a vsinger doing Western songs draw your attention more then the traditional anime, vocaloid, and jpop stuff?

Personally, I always am more likely to get grabbed if they're covering something Western, even if it's an artist I don't really care for like Billie Elish, in part because I know what the song should sound like much better then even the vsinger staples that I recognize and equally in part because I appreciate them making an effort to reach out to me and want to reciprocate that.
