I still feel like that's separate from what's currently going on. When Haachama does something, she goes all-in on it. So her "tweaks" to Haato's personality ended up being too much, which led to memes that she has multiple personalities, which eventually led to Haachama having fun with that with the schizo arc, which led to people being concerned that she actually does have mental problems because she was playing her schizo role so well.

I think her current troubles are more due to some combination of not knowing what to do about college + conflicts with management + other real life stuff.

I would like to believe that Chammers is just stressed out from uni and concert practice. That she could bounce back on her own after some more rest. However, a lot of little things about her recent behavior add up to make me a little suspicious of the situation. Namely the following:
1) She has supposedly isolated herself from her coworkers, if Coco's words are to be taken at face value. No one knows what's going on with her. In addition, if she completely avoids Twitter, she if cut off from fan support.
2) She was heavily bullied in school.
3) She is highly self-critical and has low self-esteem.
I would be more worried if Coco did not say that she intended to have a talk with Haachama. I hope the other Holos do the same and reach out.

I could just be overreacting, but I wouldn't want this situation to fester, get worse, and we all wonder, "how did it get to this point without anyone noticing?"

I feel like it might also be exacerbated by her returning to japan but finding that she did not immediately fit in as well as she thought she would.
A lot of international students often feel isolated when studying overseas and believe that when they go back to their home country this will go away, but when they return they find that due to the time they spent abroad they also feel isolated and alienated from their home countries too.

A lack of belonging is often what sends a lot of exchange students into depression in my personal experience.

It's been a source of distress several times now with failed streams due to a lack of planning, preparation, time-management, etc. Inattentiveness also hurts her ability to improve her English and learn new kanji, among other intellectual pursuits.
