It's a pretty standard 20XX cyberpunk setting. The architecture isn't very brutalist at all but much more organic and random. and tightly packed, nothing like standardized concrete commieblocks, but nowhere near as much of a single-structure hegemonic thing like Kowloon Walled City was, even though that was the aesthetic it was going for. The slums are more like a Brazilian favela with everything stacked on top of itself and the higher up you go, the more of a standard "cyberpunk" city it actually looks like with distinct individual structures.
