in hindsight the phrase "downsides outweigh the benefits" without a clarifier was a bad idea. it made it sound like scs were useless which was not what i was trying to convey but im an idiot.
the problems with scs:

they dont give a whole lot of money to the talent after cuts.

the talents themselves (generally speaking) want to read them all to give their thanks to whoever sent them. however the problem is they worry that it wouldnt be very entertaining. plus it would feel like its excluding those who didnt send a sc so the stream ends up being like a high roller club. but they cant ignore the scs either because then theyd feel bad.pr wise it would look bad on them too looking like theyre not appreciative enough. (unless youre ina and you said upfront you werent going to read them.)
its not to say that scs are a complete waste of time after all why turn them on then (other than that turning off monetization screws you over algoritihim wise see: haachalmers.) but rather they can be a hassle to deal with.
im ok with the sc system as is. if it was any other talent i would suggest this as a compromise: read the scs offstream. pick the ones that pose interesting questions or spur topics you can talk about in depth. then you could read only the names of the rest

If the reason for the burnout is overworking, you can. If it's the content itself you can't, unless you try to come up with different stuff to do, but then they would quit to do a different thing, in which case "credit" wouldn't matter outside of content creation.
And I doubt there is strict management outside of shooting down projects, which is always sad but they've dealt with it so far.
And everyone knows who everyone's rm is, and they would make it more known if they wanted to, if someone wanted to leave to do the same thing they would be taken care of for a good while assuming they didn't turn into different people.
