Non-affiliates and non-partners only get to keep VODs on their channels for a week now, but affiliates and partners get to keep them on there for 60 days if I'm not mistaken. If you're comfortable enough pushing for it, it also couldn't hurt to ask them to set up a YouTube channel so you could watch their VODs over there. There's no extra work involved in dumping the VODs on YouTube beyond clicking like two things in your account settings on Twitch.
