As an actual old fag of Hololive since 2018, I have to say that I do not like the path Hololive (at least EN) has gone ever since Council and even Tempus joined. There has always been boys in Cover, but there was always a distinction between them and the girls. Sure the girls could collab with them, but most of them didn't because they realized what their audiences wanted. Hell even male talents rarely collab with girls. But this level of smug that some of the EN members have, and the new fans that enable them, will only be a detriment to Hololive overall. Don't shame or try to kick out the people who propped up the company when it was some no-name shitter, appealing to these other people who only got into Hololive after it became popular is a short-term gain with no long-term benefit.

I think the memories i have with Hololive are too good to just completely give up on them. What i've come to realize though is i probably need a break, a long break. If Ame confirms the Gartic collab i'll take a year off, unmember, unsubscribe, block channels, keywords, etc. All in, cold turkey. In this one year break i will either let everything go, focus on other things maybe find a new hobby and just look back on that weird phase of my live i was really into streamers. The other option is that i will still miss Ame and Hololive in which case i will check on her channel and see how things panned out.
