DQ Stuff 1/2

>Lazy cat
Okayu slept 13 hours today. Not all at once, of course but split into 2 or 3 parts. She wasn't busy like she's been lately, so she really didn't do anything all day. Unfortuantely she had to push the stream back an hour because even though she thought she was being a good girl and drawing the hot water for her pre-stream bath in advance, she actually somehow failed and had to wait longer than usual.

>Mogu Mogu Reset!
Okayu gets a party wipe about 20 minutes in, and decides to reset to avoid losing her money. She redoes her usual intro phrase and says they're restarting the stream 20 minutes late. She jokes with chat about having to start the stream late due to hardware issues, and pretends that she hasn't seen any of the stuff she did in that timeframe. It continues to be a running joke throughout the stream

>7 torches, 1 fire, various tiles
Okayu is real excited in the room with the 7 torches surrounding the large flame. She realizes that each one represents one of the playable characters, while the fire represents the hero. What about Laurel(mercenary she took with Torneko before ending chapter 3)? Uh... he's probably one of the tiles on the floor nearby, Oojam too.

>Gambling problem
Okayu's excited to get back to the casino, but only has enough money for two tokens. She tries to bet on the fights anyway, and quickly loses both tokens individually.

>Extension
Okayu asks if she can extend the stream a bit, seeing as she's just leveling for a certain fight. Chat asks if she's not tired, and she says she's totally fine. She had to get up early yesterday and go to the studio for work/appointments. She actually was streaming from the studio during the Okakoro Molly Online collab. When she got home, she passed right out, and slept through most of the next day, so she's fine. She also jokes with chat about the extension being for the previous hardware issues.

>Become Okayu
There's really been many things that have brought her happiness lately. Okayu saw she had a discord message from Kanatan when she got home from the studio yesterday. It was all about Oshio-mama's Okayu infatuation; how she tries to emulate Okayu when she's feeling stressed, her "Okayuism" methodology, and how she made her nickname Nekomata Okayu in her discord server. Okayu's felt the same way; that she's been saved by thinking how her oshi would handle certain situations, so she's very happy that she could be that person for somebody else, even if she says she's nothing that special herself.

>Today's meal
A heart that can believe in others, seeing as that's what Hoffman's lacking. It looks kind of beaten up though. Could it be that the onigiryaa were betrayed by somebody recently? Can they not trust anyone anymore? How sad. You can always trust Okayu though.

>Crane goods
Seems like a lot of people have been getting the Okakoro goods from Molly Online. Okayu actually got to see some of them in person at the studio yesterday, and they were real cute. Look forward to them arriving.

>Mogu Mogu 3 million!
Okayu didn't even realize that her original song hit 3 million. Even though she doesn't try to concern herself with numbers normally, she's very happy that so many people have enjoyed her song. Chat says numbers give a sense of reality to things, and Okayu kind of sees what they mean. Still, even when she's streaming to thousands of people, Okayu always has the sensation that she's only playing with around 50. Maybe it's due to the people who don't comment, but she never feels like tens of thousands are watching her at any given time.

>Dragon Quest
Okayu has a faint memory of sadness as she listened to the file deletion jingle in the Super Famicom version of the game before she moved onto the PS2 version as a child. She thinks the DQ series in general is good at hitting her weak spots with the right sad scenes, even if she hasn't played all of thems. Games that aren't just fun, but can also have sad things like that in them really have a place in a lot of peoples' hearts.

>DQ V memory
Okayu asks if it's okay if she says some spoilers, then goes into a sad memory of the game. Though she says DQ VI is her favorite, she loves DQ V just as much and has probably played it the most out of any game in the series. When she was playing the PS2 version in the past, trying to get 100% by beating Estark in 15 turns(though she says 5) to get the final knicknack, she saw the scene again where you trade the gold bauble with the gold orb to your younger self. She remembered thinking he looked like the player when she was playing that part, and thought about how he tells you to treasure your father(because he's still alive at this time); it really made her emotional. She's not sure exactly how her face looked at that moment, but even now, looking back on that moment, she almost starts to cry, and has to wipe some tears away.

>Bride of choice
Okayu went with Bianca in DQ V. She understands that there are people who like Nera too, but she worried about Bianca being alone and thinking of the player for the rest of her life; at least Nera has Crispin. So even though she beat the game multiple times, and wanted to have children with different hair colors, she could never actually bring herself to leave Bianca. She hasn't played the DS version, but thinks Debora is cute and would want to marry her too.

>Love everybody
A superchat calls her hololive's number one flirt, and she says it's her first time hearing herself called that. But, you know what? She just loves everybody, so it can't be helped, right?

>Thank you for your time
Okayu knows that people are real busy in their lives, so she's very thankful to the people that give her their time and can watch her long streams. She's always thinking about that, and wants to enjoy herself with those people at full power every time she streams. All she wants is for you to watch and walk away with a smile, so thank you.

>Gamer chair
A superchat says they were happy to see Okayu in original outfit during yesterday's collab and would like to see it again, so Okayu leaves to "get changed" for a second. She comes back on screen using the gamer chair rig that came with it. She wonders if people remember that she had it. She stays on it for the rest of the stream, and even makes noise for the chair clunking when she jumps during her sign-off.

>Final party
Okayu's not sure who to have as her finaly party members. She could make a strong team, but she's probably just going to go with characters she likes in the end. There's no way she can abandon Borya, her favorite, and if she has Alena in, then she definitely has to include Kiryl as well.

>Nasally cat
Okayu's been a bit snuffly lately, and wonders if she might be developing rhinitis. Luckily she has a lot of tissues from everybody. She might try going to the hospital, or should it be an ear nose and throat doctor? The latter? Okay, she'll try and give it a shot.

>Imouto onigiryaa
A superchat says that his little sister became an onigiryaa recently, and Okayu's happy. The thing is, she still doesn't know that her older brother is one too; she became a fan on her own. Okayu thinks this is funny, thanks the little sister for supporting her, and then whispers that it seems like her big brother might be an Okayu fan too. Then she realizes the superchat was an aka, thanks him, and then whispers to the little sister that her brother's throwing aka superchats. Well, maybe whoever's watching wouldn't realize that it's their big brother specifically though.

>Paper Mario
Okayu realizes a lot of fans seem to have gotten into her from all the Paper Mario playthroughs she did. She still remembers how shocked she was when Origami King was announced while she was streaming TTYD, and how she watched the trailer near the stream's end. She also remembers how emotional she got with Bobby and the ending of Origami King. She hopes they announce another game in the series soon.

>Ecchi onigiryaa
A superchat mentions that Okayu's breasts seem more erotic in the original outfit, and she notices that they do seem to jiggle more in this outfit(then she shakes back and forth for a bit). She teases that if you're going to watch them, that you should do so secretively. Chat mentions that the animated onigiryaa seems to be fidgeting while staring at them this whole time, and she scolds him. She says she'll punish him by putting him at the edge of the screen, but folds, and just puts him a tiny bit further away from her. She wants everyone to see him after all, he's her treasured and cute onigiryaa that she got from Korosan after all.

>Tomorrow
Okayu's not sure yet. Probably more Dragon Quest, but she's not sure yet. It could end up being something else; only time will tell.

Her nayami soudan always feel like this. She might not be the most experienced, but she's pretty wise emotionally. She's always been good at trying to understand how the other party thinks, and she knows that making too light of even a ridiculous worry might hurt her listeners. Soudan Stuff 1/4

>Submissions
Though forms were only open for a little while, Okayu has over a thousand submissions. People have submitted worries or problems of theirs, and Okayu will try and give them advice. I've included most of them, but they're obviously shortened by a lot.

>"My classmates keep swiping food from my lunch!"
First of all, have confidence in your cooking skills to be so popular, then steal food back from them. If they complain, tell them that those who eat others food must be prepared to have their food eaten as well. Okayu seems like the type who would swipe food? Nope, she's the food trading type.

>"I'm not progressing in my work lately. Do you know a good way to get motivated?"
She gets this question all the time in these type of streams. Does she look like a highly-motivated person? She does? Well she doesn't think it's such a big deal. It's less motivation, and more the feeling of looking at the date she has to start working on something in order to finish it in time. Try seeting up dates to give yourself that sense of when you have to put your all into something or risk failure. Make a plan to avoid getting yourself too stressed out while you try to catch up though. As for working on hobbies, Okayu still likes drawing in her free time. She thinks it helps to look at art or other works that you like. Doesn't it make you want to try too? How to keep the motivation? Well work is work, so that's not too hard. As for hobbies, try thinking about why you got into it in the first place, what you wanted to do. People get into hobbies because they want to, after all. She's done the same though process with her and why she loves streaming. It might be easy to lose motivation if you try and force yourself to do something. Think of it like medicine; you need to take it, but there's certain textures and flavors that might be hard for the individual to swallow. It's important to get your motivation into the right shape for you yourself.

>"I'm a middle school girl, but I'm a gachikoi for Okayu. Is it okay for a girl to be gachikoi?"
Of course it is! Okayu's happy to be liked. Boys and girls, it's all fine for her. Old men? Absolutely! From kids to the elderly, Okayu wants to treasure all her fans.

>"How do I find the motivation to put effort into learning drawing?"
This one's similar to the earlier one, so Okayu re-stresses the point of thinking why you draw, and trying to return to the original positive state you were in when you first started. There's definitely days when you might get sad or frustrated, and feel lost or stuck, or maybe you look at others who can put in so much effort and make amazing things. These days happen, but it's important to not be too hard on yourself, or to be jealous of others. In these moments, let yourself relax, make some tea or coffee, draw a nice bath, try and let go of those emotions and come back to drawing later.

>"How do I become interested in what others are saying?"
This seems to be common in work situations. Try to at least conduct yourself in a way to be liked, things will be easier for you that way. Think about how you can become interested in what it is they're talking about. Think about things you can say that will make them happy, or make them laugh. Okayu's always happy when she looks at tweets or comments saying how much they love her streams; try to make people feel like that. People want to make Okayu laugh? The comments make her laugh every stream; the onigiryaa are funny.

>"How to not feel jealous of those with talent?"
A lot of questions like this today. It can be easy to feel jealous of those who are better than you even if it seems like they're not giving as much effort. Try to visualize them as people, and see what kind of life makes them so good at what they are. Look at their tweets, see what they do, what they eat, and realize that they're just people too. They're probably putting in a lot of effort that you don't see, so there's no reason to be jealous of that talent. Analyze exactly what you're jealous of, because that's probably what you need to work on. Okayu often talks about being jealous of how funny Korosan is, but she also tries to look at what exactly makes her so funny each time, and tries to work on that. Make sure you realize those things you're jealous of are things that you too are capable of doing; believe in that. Don't give up. Fall seven times, get up eight.

>"What does Okayu keep in mind when giving people counsel?"
Okayu feels like she's asked to counsel/give advice to people a lot, and not just in these streams. It might be natural when talking to somebody to want to talk about yourself and how you dealt with similar issues, but that's just self-satisfaction. Okayu tries to keep in mind why she's being consulted, what the person wants/needs to hear, and how to explain her feelings on said issue in a manner that's easy to understand. Okayu things words are beautiful, ever since that moment when she was a middle school cat. They hold a lot of power, so it's important to use them right. Chat wants to cry, they're so moved? That's probably just because of the BGM.

>"How to be funny?"
First think about what kind of stuff makes the other person laugh, everybody's different. Okayu feels like making others laugh is her reason for living, so she makes it her goal to understand others well so she knows how to make them laugh. Want to make her laugh? Again, she laughs herself half to death during streams; sometimes so much that her throat starts to get scratchy.

>"I don't comment because I'm worried I might say something wrong."
As long as you're not intentionally trying to troll or cause problems, feel free to say whatever you want; it's Okayu's personal discretion on what comments she wants to read. You don't need to worry about hurting her feelings with a thoughtless comment either, Okayu isn't that weak. If you're worried about getting blocked or that you have been blocked, then feel free to say so on twitter or something; Okayu doesn't really block anybody but sometimes staff might get the wrong person or make a mistake due to how fast chat is moving. There's also errors where people's comments aren't showing up even though they're not blocked, so please don't worry, and speak up if you think something's wrong(Okayu's usually pretty fast about responding to these comments). More than anything, Okayu wants you to have fun watching her stream, so please don't worry about small things like that.

>"Ever since my oshi suddenly graduated, I've lost motivation in supporting my other oshi."
You must have really loved that V-tuber, and that's great. The feelings of loss and confusion, it's not a bad thing at all that you have them; they're natural. This is one of those things that you should let time heal, probably; it'll be a slow process. It's fine that you can't get into others when you keep thinking of your oshi. Just take your time. It'd honestly be stranger if you were able to immediately recover after something like that. Even if it makes you sad now, it's a good thing that you got to love them. There's some confusion as Okayu tries to remember a quote she saw on twitter about this kind of thing, though she can't recall it perfectly. Most of chat seems to think it's a line from Pocahontas ("I'd rather die tomorrow than live a hundred years without knowing you."), but she sees a comment saying it might be from Seven Deadly Sins too, and gets interested in watching the anime. She'd seen a little with her grandma, who's a big fan, but was too busy to really follow it. Now she's more curious.

>"I tend to get really short with people when talking about serious topics. I get irritated that they're not taking the conversation seriously."
Eh? That shouldn't be much of problem actually. You watch Okayu's streams after all, right? Pretty much all Okayu does is make half-minded remarks while playing games. Just try and imagine that you're talking to Okayu. Or, honestly, maybe try warning them about how seriously you'll want to talk when they bring up one of those topics. Then it'll be up to them whether they want to continue or switch to something more light-hearted. It's also possible that they might be taking the topic seriously even if they don't look it, just like the opposite is possible too. The problem might be less of you being too serious, and more about you not knowing people with the same interests. It's actually pretty rare to talk with somebody else with the exact same amount of passion about a topic that you yourself have. You should be happy for those people when you find them, and treasure them. Still, if you can watch Okayu, maybe you're not actually that bad.

>"Is there a way to get better at empathizing/sympathsizing with others like you do, Okayu? Or at least a way to get better at pretending?"
First off is why exactly you want to get better at it. Most likely you think it'll help you get along with others better, right? Honestly, it might not be something you need to develop if you don't naturally feel the need to. Forcing yourself to empathize doesn't really seem like a good goal to have. If for some reason you absolutely have to though, then start by trying to think about why the other person feels the way they do. It's important to get into their head and think about their influences and thoughts. Try getting into their heads.

>"Everybody around me is an M. Okayu, what do you do when you want to get bullied?"
Thats a tricky problem. It's probably for the best to not seeks that kind of thing from the people you know. Even if they might be an S, there's many different shades of both S and M, so it could trouble them. Okayu finds herself satisfaction from her favorite anime characters, who are mostly all S to some degree. The best you might be able to do is find S characters you like and then dream of them. Alright, strange topic over. Okayu's advice is to sleep.

>"It seems like I'm still being depended on by my ex-girlfriend, even though she has a boyfriend. I think codependency would be a bad thing for this situation, what do you think?"
Yeah, this is pretty bad, but if you feel fine even knowing that, maybe it's not as bad as you think. Codependency can be a very nice feeling, but it could also be painful in the future. If one day the calls suddenly stop from her, or she says she feels most comfortable around you, it could be very painful. If it makes you happy, then just prepare for what might come in the future. But, if you're going to be codependent, then isn't Okayu the best choice?

>"I get scared from all the things I have to do, and keep running away from them."
It's an understandable thing to get overwhelmed by all the things you have to do. Okayu recommends slowly delving into what exactly you're afraid of, and facing those fears a bit at a time. It might be hard, but it won't be as scary if you know exactly what the reason behind your worries is. There are always those people who tell others to just ignore their feelings and do it anyway, but feel free to ignore them. Those words don't work on everybody, and can even traumatize them. Still, there are people who those words might help, and maybe their intentions aren't bad, so you can take their intention of wanting to help while still recognizing that their choice of words might have been wrong for you. Or you can take the indignation of losing to somebody who talks like that, and use it as fuel to get better too. Okayu says it's important to not immediately get hurt at words like those though. Even if it might be impossible to know exactly why something was said, it's better to think about why they might have said that. Maybe they just had a bad day, or weren't feeling well, and it caused them to be hurtful. It's better to try and think about that than to just let yourself get hurt by those words. She references some best-selling book, "Right now, that Guy's Probably Eating a Parfait or Something", meaning that while you're busy feeling upset still, that person's probably off enjoying themself.

>"I don't feel like I'm needed by those around me."
Is it really important to be needed? You can be happy and have fun with people without necessarily being needed. Okayu feels she can make others laugh, but that doesn't mean she really thinks they need her. Though, she does need the onigiryaa. She needs all her fans to be able to stream and have a fun time, so you're always needed here.

>"People get mad at me for not crying at things like when we lose a tournament."
Crying isn't required to feel sad. It might be nice to do to match with others at occasions like that, but you don't need to. If you don't feel sad or frustrated though, you can always just apologize and say you're too sad/emotional to cry. Then you can feed them some dramatic lines, then go home and nonchalantly play games since you aren't particularly sad or frustrated. You can get a parfait at a family restaurant on the way home! You might get seen though. If you do, just tell them you were too sad to go home so you went to a restaurant instead, or just accuse them of going too.

>"I have a really strange fetish that I'm worried about people finding out. I'm worried I might never get married because of it."
If it's not a fetish that really needs to be known, then isn't it fine to keep it hidden? But if it's one that needs a partner, then it's important to think about the right timing to tell your partner. It might even be best to tell them what kind of human you are right at the start. If all else fails, feel free to tell Okayu; she's not the type to get grossed out by that type of thing.

>"What are friends to you?"
Okayu thinks the most important thing in a friend is somebody you can laugh and have fun with. She doesn't think that the requirement of them being somebody who will always support you no matter what is a good guideline to follow, because that will end up being hard on them if you always use them to support you. Her main goal is just to have fun and be funny, and the result was a bunch of friends that she also thinks she can trust, whom she's very thankful for. Try to make friends like Okayu, or just have Okayu as your friend.

>"I was badmouthed by somebody I don't know really well. What should my response have been?"
Shut up! SHUT UP!!! That's all. Well, you shouldn't really mind it, but if you do, just assume they probably weren't thinking about what they said very much.

>"I love Okayu so much that she's all I think about. What should I do?"
What? Isn't that just fine? No problem there. Feel free to think about her even more.

>"I have many oshi, but is it okay to consider myself an onigiryaa?"
Okayu thinks that's totally fine. You don't have to have only her as an oshi to be one. You don't even need to be a member, or you could only watch clips. As long as you like Okayu, it's fine to think of yourself as an onigiryaa. If there are any onigiryaa out there bullying people about being one, they're the ones being bad, and Okayu will eat their heads.

>"Still a chuunibyou even in high school. How do I cure it?"
You probably can't. Okayu was the same, and she's still childish even now; laughing at poop and other things. All adults, well maybe not all, but ones like Okayu at least are always going to like what they like. Adults who seem like adults probably seemed like adults when they were kids too. You're not sick, you're an ally.

>"I don't like communication or other people meddling with my work, so I prefer to silently fix the problems of others."
Okayu understands the sentiment. Confrontation with people can be troublesome, and being scolded too is no fun. Obviously, avoiding making any mistakes can reduce the amount of scoldings or interference with your work that you might receive. Since joining hololive, Okayu has done her best to not get scolded by management, and has never been scolded once during these past 2 years as a result. It's easier to quietly fix other people's mistakes too, since she hates scolding or critiquing others even more than being scolded herself; it takes a lot of energy to be angry. Still, there might be times you make mistakes, so just do your best to deal with it, listen and take notes, and try not to do it again.

>"I can't find any oshi I like as much as Okayu, so I fall into despair every day she doesn't stream, like when she takes a break every Wednesday."
She laughs about her habit of taking Wednesdays off to read the new chapter of Golden Kamuy being exposed. It's not like she doesn't have the desire to stream everyday, but she can never be 100% certain that she'll be able to. Lots of things happen in the lives of cats and people. You could always read the new issue of Young Jump and scream about it with her too; Golden Kamuy's plot is real intense right now. She really does treasure everybody, and doesn't want them to feel lonely, but everybody should really just shut up and cherish her. She got a lot of questions and worries from people today, a lot of them worried about hurting her feelings, but you don't need to worry about them. Take all those worries, and bring them on! Okayu's a cat, so she'll lose as soon as you get her by the scruff of the neck, but she's prepared for all those things every time she decides to stream. So stop worrying so much, shut up, and treasure this cat.

>End
For obvious reasons, Okayu will save the superchat till the end of her next stream. Tomorrow will probably be Dragon Quest again, but we'll see.

SubaOka 1/4

>2 Years
Today marks the second year since the two started streaming together, though they both don't feel like that much time has passed at all. Subaru says it feels closer to one year, and Okayu agrees. The first half of the stream will be them answering questions that were asked over twitter, the second will be sort of a test for them. Okayu jokes about secrets being revealed, but they both don't feel like they have any actual secrets between them.

>Impressions, then and now
They reall don't feel like their relationship has changed at all compared to back then; Subaru says they might have been a little more tense around each other at times, but that's it. A relationship that Okayu thinks has definitely changed is SubaMio. Somehow it's gone from a touching friendship, to a mama fetish. Subaru started doing it as a gag initially, but now she's scared that it's at the point of no return. Okayu jokes that maybe it was her fault for warping Subaru by getting her into the world of otaku, but it's just as possible that Subaru started the gag because being a baby was her secret ambition the whole time.

>In-between
Okayu starts calling Subaru Suberu, and Subaru wonders why it almost immediately becomes manzai whenever the two of them are together. Okayu says her cheeks are feeling sluggish, and Subaru says that happens a lot to her so she just slaps them. Subaru's surprised that Okayu's taken aback, even though she loves pain. Okayu says she only likes pain from others, so Subaru pretends to hit them(this isn't an offcollab, or it's an oncollab, as Subaru calls it later), but Okayu just says it itches.

>A long while
Okayu says it's been some time since there's been Subaoka. Subaru says that might be true, but they hang out so much behind the scenes that it doesn't really feel that way. Okayu agrees on that; it's just been a really long time since a Subaoka stream then. Neither of them can remember what the last SubaOka stream was.

>Weird habits/quirks you notice about each other? - Subaru
Okayu says Subaru went to take a bath about 30 minutes before the stream started, and 10 minutes later, before the stream even started, she wanted to take another one. Subaru says they're like a morning shower to her, like a mental reset. She takes one right when she wakes up, and then she usually wants to take one before streaming, and then she wants to take one more after streaming. Okayu jokes that Subaru's making broth, and wonders where it's available.

>Habits/quirks - Okayu
Okayu has a lot of quirks according to Subaru, but the first one might be her lack of embarrassment in certain areas. The next is just the parts of characters/things that she ends up falling in love with. Every time they watch an anime together, they'd end up liking very different characters, that's why it's a miracle that they both ended up liking Rengoku(Happy birthday to Rengoku btw). Her otaku lifestylings are also very agressive. Subaru ended up seeing the Kimetsu movie with Okayu 3 times, even though her favorite movies had never got her to go see them in theaters more than twice. Okayu, on the other hand, went and saw the movie 6 times. She'd check the showings every morning and night to see if she had time. Subaru said she'd send her messages saying that she went to see Rengoku first thing in the morning. Okayu says seeing him was a given, just like Subaru and her many baths.

>Favorite coupling in hololive?
Subaru is a big fan of Aqushio, which was the first one she enjoyed watching. Okayu likes the part of Subaru that likes Aqushio, which weirds her out. Okayu just thinks that there's something nice about liking a coupling from your own generation. Subaru used to listen their Okochama Sensou all the time. Okayu's realized lately that she likes any couple where Marine is the agressor. Subaru doesn't want to delve any deeper; she died due to a Marine-like character's bungee gum attack yesterday. Okayu thinks Marisuba is good too, thinking it'd be nice to see a reluctant Subaru get bungee gummed by Senchou. Subaru makes Okayu apologize for digging that trauma back up, but Okayu says that traumatized part of Subaru would make the coupling really good too. Subaru says Okayu sounds like Suichan at times when she says things like that, and now she wants a shower.

>Has Okayu ever been to Subaru's house?
Only once in 2 years, when Okayu got some ajinori from Subaru. Meanwhile Subaru has been to Okayu's house more times than she can count, though obviously she can't come over currently. Subaru says Okayu's house just has a lot of pleasure/amusement factors that she lacks at her own. Speaking of which, Okayu has some free space that she's been thinking about using for a massage chair. Subaru says she'd like to come over if she gets it, Okayu says she doesn't have to, but Subaru insists/demands. Okayu's constantly upgrading her house, and Subaru says it really does feel like an inn. Fubuki-chan and Towa are watching, so Okayu asks if Subaru wants to say something to them. "Let's go try out the massage chair."

>Master and disciple
When did they start their otaku relationship? Subaru says before watching Prince of Tennis together, Okayu recommended her something else. She thinks it was Non Non Biyori at first, but it might actually be Wataten. Okayu said she targeted Subaru from the start, knowing she had the makings of a good otaku. Then they started watching Tenipuri together, and Subaru thought it was so interesting that it beat out her sleepiness, and they'd watch tons of episodes at a time. Okayu was really moved when Subaru started watching Kamuy on her own, feeling like her disciple had grown up. In the beginning, Subaru didn't know what to watch or how to enjoy anime properly with so many options, but seeing Okayu's lack of hesitation at jumping into a new series has helped her understand.

>Still hiding anything from each other?
Not at all, huh? Subaru says they're probably together even more than everybody else thinks, so there's probably nothing left to hide. They haven't been talking quite as much lately due to how busy they've been, but they still have time here and there. Subaru's been real busy with dancing, and Okayu's been doing a lot of data work on her computer. Yesterday, they were both at the end of their ropes, Subaru with a really hard dance she was practicing, and Okayu losing a bunch of data she was working with. They both kept each other going while crying.

>Things you talk about when staying over
Things like upgrading the inn to be more enjoyable, or coming over just to eat when Kayoizuma-chan comes to make food. Apparently it's not that much of a walk, so Subaru will just put a jersey on and come over to eat sometimes. They talk a lot over the phone on their days off too; usually talking about anime, games, watching Golden Kamuy, or licking their wounds from all their hard work.

>What would you warn your 2 year earlier self about?
Subaru would tell her not to break Okayu's sofa in 2 years, Okayu would tell herself to buy more cushions. Okayu says she's up to 6 cushions now though, and Subaru says there's more each time. 2 of those cushions are giant ones that were recommended by Mio, though one has been claimed by Temanyan. Subaru says she's willing to have it out with Nyasuko, even though they get along so well. Okayu says Temari really does like her a lot; she's always showing her butthole off to her after all. Chat says that's a sign of trust though. Chat also says to smell it, but Subaru refuses despite Okayu insisting. Subaru is a human, but Okayu should do it as a fellow cat; Okayu's a trained cat though, so it's a no-go.

>Subaoka bond test
For the second half, Okayu will put up a topic, and they'll have to guess what the other's answer will be.

>> No.3550665

>>3550637
3/4

>Favorite food
Subaru's guess is stir-fry with egg and garlic, but that's not it. Mille feuille nabe? Not quite, but Okayu's amazed at Subaru's memory. Subaru remembers eating it with Okayu after she happily recommended it one time. That's right, Subaru has great memory, so don't do anything bad, subatomo, she's been watching your twitter lately. Okayu's guess is Gong Cha Mango tea, but Subaru says she just told her that today, so maybe salad or something? Subaru really has a vegetable image to her, like maybe pickled vegetables? She does eat a lot of them while working. Curry! Bingo! Subaru could eat curry or salad forever, also Gong Cha. Okayu liked how knowledgeable Subaru was in that food conversation, and Subaru's not sure if that's a compliment. Okayu says she's like the anime characters who would say scarily accurate stuff about what and when somebody ate something whil looking at notes, all with a smile.

>Charm point
Subaru guesses Okayu's ears, but that's wrong; Okayu says everybody has cat ears now. Okayu guesses Subaru's soft butt is her charm point, since she's always talking about it. Subaru agrees that it's soft, but says it's more just a physical marvel than a charm point. Okayu insists though, and Subaru concedes that her charm point is her butt. The way she says it while giving a strange look makes Okayu laugh. She says it sounds like a commercial, then does an impression that Subaru thinks is making her sound like a strange Doraemon. Subaru sure is filled with charm from head to toe. Just where is Okayu looking? Well then maybe Okayu's charm point is her cheeks? Okayu gives a very dismissive approval and moves on to the next topic.

>Where you want to be the most right now?
Okayu guesses outside; she's right, but there's one more. The bath? Great success! A third time? She's already gone in twice today! Subaru guesses Okayu wants to be in front of her PC, working, but that's what she's doing right now. In bed? No, she wants to be in front of her PC. Then wasn't that first guess right? Well, inside her home is where she wants to be most, she doesn't want to go out in particular like Subaru does. Subaru's been going stir-crazy latel, always complaining about how she wants to be outside or in the bath when they're talking to each other. They have to be strong for now, and they've been behaving like good girls.

>If you were going to give a present to each other, what would it be?
Okayu thinks Subaru would send her Rengoku's Haori, and Subaru doesn't even know where she'd get that. Would she just try and rip it off Rengoku himself? Okayu's sure they sell it somewhere(they do as of today, acccording to comments). Okayu would like to use it as a lap blanket; Subaru says she'll look into it. Subaru says Okayu is the type to just ask what she wants, and then it would show up from Amazon several days later. Okayu says she's actually the type to ask, but then not send anything, or maybe send an entirely different gift. A DVD? Nope. Cushion? Nope. Okayu says she'd get her a really expensive bath towel since she loves the bath so much, but wouldn't normally buy something that expensive. Subaru's happy, and says she'll give her some bath bombs. She really loves bath bombs, huh? They make the bath so much fun; she'll awaken Okayu to how fun baths are. Final answer: Okayu will buy a towel, Subaru will buy bath bombs.

>What they're worst with
Subaru's got it: Okayu hates times when she's inconvenienced; like when she's too busy with work to take things at her own pace. Bulls-eye! Chat says everybody's like that though, but Subaru thinks Okayu hates it far more than most people do. Okayu can endure it, but each day really wears at her. Subaru, on the other hand, has more preserverance, and can go about a week before it becomes too much. Okayu's guess: The period of time it takes to realize why something went wrong. Another bulls-eye; Subaru said she didn't even realize it herself. Okayu says Subaru is a self-improvement monster, so she really hates the times where she can't figure out how to improve certain mistakes; also dirty rooms.

>What type of characters they like
Okayu thinks Subaru likes characters who are always trying hard, but also give a sense of security. Subaru seems unsure at first, but doesn't really have a better answer, she also likes tanned/brown characters too. Subaru has almost a list going for types that Okayu likes. First off, they have to be a little bit of a psychopath; maybe that word's a little strong, but they need to be at least a little weird. After that, they need to look very distinctive/unique. Okayu says Inui looks normal, but Subaru strongly disagrees. They have to have a very strong feeling to their character, and feel like nobody else in their series. Finally, they need to be a bit of an S.

>Okayu's sudden realization
Doesn't Subaru fit all those criteria? She's the only one in hololive with that character. She's also a bit of a psychopath with her memory of her listeners' names and litle things they post on twitter. Finally, she's constantly got a bit of an S feeling to her; she's not quite there yet, but she's got the makings. She'll pick on Okayu a lot for having certain weird aspects to her. At least, this is what the Subaru living in Okayu's delusions is like. Even when she's suffering during sugyaku, she'll see all her listeners enjoying it and tell them, "You really can't live without sugyaku, can you? You like it more than anything don't you?" Okayu thinks those parts definitely appeal to her. For instance, if Subaru was waving a penlight at Aqushio in a concert, Okayu would be behind Subaru, waving a penlight for her.

>Many Subarus
Okayu's happy when Subaru says she'll do her best to live as an S from now on, but she takes it back and will continue as she is. Subaru's a bit worried by how chat seems to be agreeing with all the things Okayu's saying about her, but Okayu says it's her channel, and the onigiryaa understand Okayu well enough to know it's just her imaginary Subaru. There are a lot of Subarus though in addition to Okayu's delusion, like Mesubaru, and First Subaru; and none of these Subarus were created by Subaru herself. Subaru really does have the makings to be Okayu's oshi with her ability to be interpreted differently by people, and Okayu says she's probably being more serious than Subaru thinks. Subaru gets scared, and tells her to back off, but Okayu uses bungee gum.

>End
Okayu asks how the stream went. Subaru says that even though they're always talking off stream, and everything feels perfectly comfortable, she's now broken out in a cold sweat that she only gets from their collabs; take care of her next time too please. Okayu says she had a lot of fun as well.

>That's right, Subaru has great memory, so don't do anything bad, subatomo, she's been watching your twitter lately.
She's always like this, she'll randomly find someone mentioning her on twitter and replying or looking up clips or people mentioning her overseas, she even remembered the time she came over here to talk about capeshit on /co/ and talked about it during one of her shubagelion build streams. Korone's tweeted that she's off to work after waking up and doesn't come back until 10 hours later to stream, it could easily be a part time job. She probably needs the social interaction and the money is a bonus.

well she is pretty smug on her own, so that part speaks for itself.
as for lewdability, even though she doesnt really act lewd, her overall personality is very suitable to lewd fantasies. i think her smugness is a big part of it but it’s also her easy-going nature and sexy as fuck voice that make her perfect for thinking of lewdly.

Okayu sometimes shares stories about this uncle she has from time to time. You've likely seen him mentioned in summary-anon's posts already.

She's not supposed to have parents lore-wise but she oh-so-conveniently has her "grandma" and "uncle" to talk about instead.

>> No.3619116

>>3618903
Yeah, we also know she has a mom from pre-holo streaming. She's accidentally referred to her grandma as "wanting to buy her daughter's merch", and she's talked about her uncle's brother being good at cards. Pretty sure an uncle's brother is just another uncle. She doesn't seem particularly stressed about hiding them though, the same way she tries to just remember to refer to herself as a cat most of the time.

Goose Game stuff 1/2

>Mischief
Okayu hasn't caused any trouble for others in a while, so she's worried she might be rusty from all the time she's spent in prison. She warms up to the game pretty quickly though, and has a good time bullying all the people.

>JII-CHAAAAAAAN!
https://files.catbox.moe/v6fv8e.mp4

>Today's meal
A golden goose. Whether you choose to decorate with it or eat it is up to you.

>Counseling
Okayu hadn't done one of those streams in a while, and it was nice to hear some of the worries that the people who always come and watch her might have. She might have only been able to read a fraction of them, but it did seem like a lot of listeners shared similar worries to each other. She's not sure if she was able to help, but she hopes she made it at least a little easier for you. Chat thanks her for properly listening and addressing their worries, and she's happy to hear that people feel that way. She saw a lot of people using her tag saying they cried after that stream. There's a lot of hardship everybody faces in life, and if people can watch her streams and feel a bit better, that's more important to her than anything. Come and hang out again, please.

>Dragon Quest
She's continuing the playthrough tomorrow. She was deliberating on whether to play it or not today, but she wanted to make sure she had time to get through the superchats from the counseling stream too. Chat accuses the new chapter of Golden Kamuy being the real reason; she laughs and says it's certainly part of it. Today was supposed to be a break, but because she worked from morning to night and had to take yesterday off, she really wanted to stream something today. It's just an added bonus that she'll be done in time to read the chapter.

>Sleep
She really has been busy with work lately, usually getting up around 7, and then working late. She's getting plenty of sleep though. She passed out right after the collab with Subaru the other day, and got about 10 hours of sleep before getting up at 7. She also passed out right after she got home from working the next day, so at least she doesn't feel unwell from lack of sleep or anything. She'll probably sleep right after reading Kamuy tonight too. Right now she has a very normal sleep schedule due to work, but once she stops being so busy, she'll probably return to being a nocturnal cat; she's not sure when those days may come though at the moment.

>Curiosity and the cat
Okayu likes hearing the worries and thoughts of people that only they themselves might usually know, just like she likes hearing what they think about her favorite manga and series. She's a very curious cat. That's why she likes meeting her friends' moms too. If there's a friend she really loves, she wants to see the parents responsible for raising them into that kind of person, and find out what kind of person they are too.

>Korosan's mom
Is that why she gets along so well with Korosan's mom? Well, she doesn't actually have as many chances to meet or talk with her as she'd like, but she's always happy when she can. Korosan's mother is a really funny person, just like her daughter. What Okayu does do, is send pictures to Korosan's mom. She'll take a picture of her making a weird face and have Korosan send it, or she'll send a picture of her wearing a shirt with a weird design on it, or they'll send a photo of them together whenever they meet up.

>Calendar
A superchat thanks her for all her advice, and wants her to release a calendar with her Okayu-isms. She says they wouldn't be anything that deep, just telling you how today's food would be yummy or something. Chat wants a daily calendar, but she says it would be too much to prepare 365 pictures of herself.

>> No.3622915

>>3622886
2/2

>Caring
Okayu doesn't really think there are many people in the world who can always be happy; everybody feels down at times. She wants to be an existence you can cuddle up close to when you're feeling down so you can get some peace of mind. Okayu would say she's pretty stable mentally, but even she has times where she's feeling less than great and has to take a day off. Whenever that happens, the onigiryaa always tell her to not worry about it and to take it easy. People always say Okayu's really kind, but she thinks her fans are too.

>When to use her stamp
LINE now has a set of stamp with the hololive girls out, but Okayu's having a hard time thinking of when people should use her "Boku de yokunai?" stamp; it's a little niche in its uses. When confessing? Please tell her if you manage to get a girlfriend because of her. When doing something with friends, like playing a game together or going out to eat? When somebody asks if you have a Vtuber you'd recommend? Their reall are some limited uses with this thing.

>I"m not weak
People really seemed to like when she said that in concern to her fans being afraid to say something that would hurt her feelings. Okayu may not be invincible, but she doesn't want her fans to be afraid of saying something out of consideration for her. Most of the submitted worries involved being afraid of hurting her, so she said that to help relieve them a bit. Even she doesn't really like to leave comments when she watches somebody, so she understands why people are afraid to even do that at times, but she wants people to not be afraid of hurting her. Also, you can always just tweet with her tag if you're afraid of leaving a comment.

>I'm keeping it
Okayu doesn't usually read collab superchats, but accidentally starts reading the Subaoka collab ones, and decides to do them all anyway. There are a couple of comments that sound almost like the person who gave the money thought they were on Subaru's channel. Subaru might have been the most prominent in the thumbnail, but this is Okayu's channel, you know? She's going to keep this aka, and she won't give it back, okay? Chat says they see this happen a lot on collabs.

>Fathers love Kamuy
A fan got their father into Golden Kamuy, and Okayu's really excited about it. She wants to hear who their favorite character is. She thinks something about Golden Kamuy really makes dads love it. Before she even got into it, her uncle was a big fan, after all. Everybody, make sure to recommend Golden Kamuy to your dads.

>Self-satisfaction is good
An aka superchat claims it's thanks for self-satisfaction they got from hearing Okayu give counsel to a similar issue to their own, but Okayu says there's no problem with that if it doesn't cause anybody problems. People often talk about self-satisfaction with a negative connotation; like it's an inherently bad thing to do; Okayu thinks it's necessary in life. You can't always count on satisfaction from others; life can be really hard at times if your happiness hinges on the actions of people besides yourself. It's important to make yourself happy too, instead of gambling on uncertain things like the actions and words of other people.

>Tsundere fan
A superchat thanks Okayu, but says they're fine if she doesn't really read it out loud or anything. Okayu starts to pick on them. You say not to read it, but you actually really wanted her to, didn't you? You know that Okayu likes being an antagonizer and a contrarian at times, so you hoped she'd read it while pretending not to care, huh? You little cutie! Good boy, good boy.

>Goods
The last day to order Okayu's 2nd anniversary goods has passed, and Okayu got a call from the person in charge of sales. It sounds like fans ordered an incredible amount of goods, so she's very happy. She's also happy to see all her fans tweeting about getting the Okakoro goods from Molly Online. It'll probably be more than a few months before she can release any new goods, so she's planning on taking her time and seeing what people really want from her next. Thanks for supporting her so much.

Nothing too crazy to summarize this time, so I'll skip today. Luckily Okayu sang it again in her stream today. If you can somehow manage to ignore the echo effect, you'll notice that she sounds very different. Most outstanding is probably the higher pitch in her voice and I would say in the stream it's sounds a bit clearer. Maybe this is done to mask the editing a bit.

I have never done mastering, but afaik it's possible to correct crooked singing to a certain level (not as this would be needed for Okayu of course)

Utawaku stuff

>Songs
Shojo S, Dakara Boku wa Ongaku wo Akirameta, Yasashii Suisei, Otome Kaibou, KING, Shuraba, Watashi to Waltz wo, Ariamaru Tomi, Otona no Okite, Connect, Mogu Mogu YUMMY!

>Feeling good
Okayu doesn't have any morning voice this time; she managed her sleeping properly. This stream is also a bit of a revenge stream for the last karaoke, when she was too sleepy and messed up a lot too. She'll be singing some new ones as well as some old too.

>Bleach
Okayu's actually never seen Bleach at all. In school lots of people were watching it, but for some reason she just never got around to watching it. She is, however, very certain that if she watched it, she'd love Ichimaru Gin, who has the same VA as Midousuji, the most.

>Antatachi
Okayu confesses that she's never actually said "Anta no sei de(this is all your fault!)" in her cat life. Even when she's joking around about being angry with people, she uses "Omee". Chat says the song could be good practice and also how the phrase really fits Pekora. Okayu agrees and tries a quick impression. She says Pekora's "Antatachi" has a real nice feel to it.

>KING
Okayu feels like she doesn't normally yell like she just did for the song. A lot of hololive members have released covers of the song, but each one has its own unique sound and atmosphere to it; Okayu really likes that.

>An old favorite
Okayu says her next song will be from a CD that her grandma listened to a lot when Okayu was a little kid, and she wonders if anybody here will know it. She jokingly scolds someone in chat for saying they know it before she even says the title or starts the song. It turns out the song is from an older drama, Trick, which Okayu's never watched. She hears it's interesting though, so now she might give it a shot.

>Lyric cards
Okayu has an excuse for why she's been messing up lyrics lately. She says the reason she might be that she's looking at lyric cards rather than the usual lyrics shown on a karaoke screen, and she's not used to it yet; those screens really are useful with timing. But, she does feel that the cards for some reason actually make it easier for her to sing.

>Shiren
Okayu has a new series starting tomorrow besides Dragon Quest. Well, she's not sure if it'll take long enough to be considered a series or not, but she's still excited either way, since she's never played this particular entry. Her new game will be Shiren 5 for the Switch. She's played one of the older ones on stream before, but she really loves Shiren. She played the original a ton and even cleared the 99th floor of Fay's Final Puzzle; she also really loves Table Mountain and could climb it forever. She might climb Table Mountain again just to get ready for tomorrow's stream.

>Meal
Soup curry, which she's been really into lately. She loves veggie curry, but feels like she can put an even larger variety of vegetables when it's this style. Favorite ingredient? Eggplant or bell pepper, then lotus root.

>Mama
Okayu's been talking with Chiroru-mama a lot about Umamusume on discord lately. Mama's a Mcqueen fan, and Okayu loves Tachyon, so Okayu sent them a screenshot of her Tachyon holding a Mcqueen plush after the crane game event. She's glad she's becoming good friends with her mama. She's still playing a lot of Umamusume off screen, but she can't manage to make an A rank.

>Membership stream
It's already halfway through the month, and Okayu still needs to do a membership stream. She's surprised at how quickly time's gotten the better of her. She thinks she'll go with a line-reading stream since she hasn't done one for some time. She'll put up forms for submission at some point in the near future.

>Step on me, Okayu
A superchat says it's their birthday, and that they'd like Okayu to think up a new name for them; also their dream is to be stepped on by Okayu. First off, there's a lot of things she wants to say, but happy birthday, first and foremost. If she gave them a name like "I want to be stepped on by Okayu" then people would question just what kind of fans she had whenever that person commented on anything. How about Fumiyume(Stepdream) then? Have it written in hiragana and people will just think it's a cute name, not realizing that it holds such adult undertones. They superchat again and thank her for the name. She's glad she came up with such a nice name to hide somebody's sexual fetish.

>Subscribers
A superchat says they've been following Okayu since 280k subs, and they're ammazed at how she's over a million now. She still can't wrap her head around 280k people, much less a million; though she laughs at how it sounds like she's talking about a stranger rather than herself. Maybe if all the onigiryaa lined up single file she'd finally be able to understand.

she’s using the same voice in her live mogu mogu karaoke as in her recorded version. that’s her trying to use her cute voice to fit the cute song. In her other covers she uses her natural voice because those other songs are cool songs

As someone who doesn't give a shit about the composer, it feels less like a collab and more like Okayu performing his song.

That's how commissioned songwriting works.
She's not an artist and can't write her own songs so this is the best you will get.

Suisei isn't composing her own stuff, but it still feels like her songs are written for her. Why can't this guy do the same for Okayu?

He literally asked Okayu and Mane-chan to explain what kind of person she was before he made the song. They showed him streams and clips to help too.

She got one of her favorite composers to make an original song for her. Don't be stupid for no reason other than a song not fitting your personal tastes.

You're forgetting what the conversation was about. It might be her favorite composer, but he didn't write the damn song for her. It's some over-the-top cutesy thing, not Okayu.

>> No.3699195

Okayu absolutely has a cute and girly side to her, loves poppy music, likes eating and talking about food, and saying weird cryptic things at time. This song didn't describe her entire personality, sure, but it doesn't have to. Until Okayu goes and says that she didn't think the song properly expressed her, I think I'll go with her word over yours.

Again, she can literally not complain about the song because it's her job to sell it. She's very cute, but she's not that brand of over-the-top cutesy and trying to conflate the two is completely dishonest.
