I'm genuinely curious as to the appeal of corpse. I've tried watching a few of his streams and the whole "talking beyond the dead" schtick got boring pretty fast. Maybe I'm missing something. Or maybe it's just not for me.

This is a unique vtuber. If you watch the clip you'll notice that they focus mainly on gameplay while diregarding any comments. It's hardly vtubing as in no way do they engage with viewers provide commentary or express emotion. They have a avatar so they are a Vtuber but they just barely find themselves in the category very similar to how green mouth is pushing the limits to what can be considered vtubing.

This chuuba sustains five viewers average. They are a testament to all chuubas who don't wish to engage viewers, speak, or express emotion. I expect to see this chuuba continue to grow as long as they keep at it. When they become as famous as the jar of peanut butter on twitch with 500+ viewers I think it might change the perspective of your average know it all when it comes to chuubas.

kinda, but I think there's just a certain charm to her style of streaming. It's a lot more slow paced because of the whole text thing but I don't think there's anything wrong with that. She's got a fun personality behind how reserved she acts too. Honestly I think the main thing is she appeals to an audience that isn't really interested in modern streaming that relies on facecams or vtuber models, and just wants to watch a comfy stream of someone playing a game first and foremost.

A bit of both desu. There are like 3-4 actual games that are worth it on VR, and Beat Saber is probably the only one that could be interesting for more than 1 hour or so. HF and the boneworks stuff only have the physics going on but that gets very boring to watch, and actually moving your body makes it harder to interact/entertain constantly to compensate for it.

I just wish there were more 3D modelers that accept rigged commissions. A lot of the ones I find do modeling specifically for posing and renders and they don't end up very nice even when rigged.
