Actually a good point in adding A LOT of coins is to spread out inflation and knowledge. Having to keep tracking of 200+ vtubers would be a lot harder, so you could make money by knowing niches others don't know as well.
Especially now with the anti bubble mechanics, it's kinda shit because there's so few choices, everyone knows all the coins that are gonna moon on paper and gets punished for it. Having way more coins would alleviate that problem.
And having more coins mean the money will be more spread around so that will make coins less overvalued because right now we have nowhere else to put our money.

Adding a transaction fee fucks the poors who have to buy 5 RBC to make the same dividends as 1 Gura, making per buy/sell changes bigger fucks everyone universally and encourages just holding shit and waiting for recovery. The inherent problem in a system like this is that making good choices is incredibly easy, but making great choices isn't much more rewarding. I got in on Fubuki this morning because I checked twitter, went to bed and people were talking about her when I got up. She's up 20% and probably won't do a whole lot more, but 20% on 2.6k really doesn't matter because you can't buy enough to capitalise before everyone notices.

With the current algorihim, nobody could reasonably get anywhere, because nobody can reasonably compete with EN's numbers. Under the current system Gura will ALWAYS be the prime chuuba that everyone will keep an eye on, because she can move anywhere in the range of $4000~7000.

Since the devs can't afford that though the proper bandaid would be setting progressive price limits based on performance to keep them in line with their Real Value. Pochi shouldn't have mooned to $5k just off of demand alone since her channel and her dividend aren't worth that much. Transaction change should've gotten progressively lower and lower until she reached a cap of $1500 or something since that's as far as her Real Value goes.

In real life this is represented using circuit breakers in the various brokers that will shut down trading if a stock is moving too fast purely off of supply/demand since it's usually due to something shady or can fuck up the entire economy if it gets out of control.

I'm still a newfag, so I'm not overly confident, but less starting money might be good. I get that people want to be able to Oshicoin immediately, but I started with 22k and quickly made it to 30k just off of trading Gura, Ame, and Aqua over a couple of days. The other problem is the algorithim in regards to low-view Holos. The ENs are very volatile and I'm not sure why that is. Looking at past records, it's not the outfit reveals that made them volatile recently, but a fairly protracted problem. I doubt it's their view/sub counts. Meanwhile, Choco and Mel didn't even move at adjustment despite both having very good days. This might be a problem with middle-performing Holos in relation to the algorithim, since (comparatively) literal whos like Ui and Ayamy both exploded overnight after one good day of streaming.

Well a challenge with designing this game is that you have both a "competition between player" aspect and a "promote, discover and watch vtubers" aspect, which I think a lot of people forget when talking about balancing.
I think oshicoins should have a buff that rewards their holders if their normal divvies would be low. So someone being very loyal to a vtuber with little views/subs/divvies would get rewarded proportionally to how loyal he is to her. Like, CEO of SEX should have an extra dividend bonus for having ayame exclusively, but LoliBaba would get no bonus because she already has excellent stats. It could be a good way to incentivize people to find smaller vtubers and sticking with them, maybe even actually start watching them.
Basically, incentivize either going heavily in a small coin, or diversify with large coins.

At this point in time it seems like volume has way too much of an impact on a coin's value. Coins with really low volume like Kanata and Pochi and Nene and Aqua will move so much off of a few trades that it's really hard to adjust them down without them getting pumped right back up. That was part of the reason I suggested multiple adjustments a day (the other being the generally inconvenient time). Multiple performance adjustments a day (at least 2, preferably 3 or 4) would alleviate sudden shifts and prevent coins from moving too much on demand alone, thus increasing the weight actual channel performance has on market value.

Even currently they've been hyping their upcoming changes for over a week without actually saying what they're doing or implementing any testing to get feedback. I'm not a dev but I can tell you why "some" adjustments is a bad idea.
Thing is, the stats update DAILY, so one certain point in time where you get new numbers to calculate from. This would mean that if we have 4-6 adjustments daily, that the dudes who knew the first adjustment will know the other 3-5 as well, selling accordingly after the first one and getting back in after the last.

Another approach I would suggest is having the broker sell like a player towards the adjusted price, that way it wouldn't immediately be visible on the graph and trigger min-max responses from players and bots alike. Sure you could spot them if you're lucky but if it's a highly traded coin with buys and sells every cycle nobody would be any wiser. Problem is that some coins like Gura would just moon forever like that because adjustments like in this case could only get so far in a day, 24h*4cycles = a mere $960 on average depending on coin count can be moved. If it's more than one buy/sell every cycle it would get noticed easier.

So it's really about finding a balance. One adjustment is bad because it focusses on ONE point in time everyone has to be awake for to make money. "Some" adjustments is bad because we wouldn't have enough data to make them different. Creeping adjustments wouldn't actually adjust much without getting spotted, but I believe they would at least relieve the problem of the timezones.

Youtube shows you streams as soon as they're scheduled, and on top once they go live, so if you schedule two days before you win absolutely nothing, you even lose some people while waiting for the stream. In this example, Mikochi scheduled a part 2 to Resi 8 right after she finished part 1, which now has her much lower on my subscribed list. Hello everyone! First, I want to thank everyone who has stuck with us for this long despite the frustrating gameplay experience that we've been working hard to mend. Below are the promised details and status updates on the upcoming changes being made to improve performance and hopefully make the game more than bearable so that we can get on to adding more fun mechanics, and draw in a larger player base.
- Removed the queue. The major change that this update will bring is a focus on real time mechanics. Each transaction will go through immediately and update the coin price immediately, to better emulate a real market. All prices displayed to the client will be updating in real time. This means you will see prices changing dynamically and the amount you pay/ receive is the amount that is displayed at the time you clicked the button. Each coin will also now have a separate ask and bid price. To improve performance, we've refactored how coin data is stored and sent to the users. This is also to fix the possibility of race conditions that seemingly bogged users out of transactions.
- No more broker cycles because no queue to clean. Each coin will operate on its own time, as well as its 24H graph
- Updating the activity page and how it handles receiving transactions. It won't be sending the entire 80KB or however big transaction tape on every update anymore, just the new transactions themselves. Should relieve all the network bottlenecks that the old system caused.
- Assets on the profile page will be ordered by generation, currently they're just a random order which isn't helpful
- Some minor changes to the daily adjustments. We will keep the flatlining of overpriced coins, but bearish undervalued coins will now adjust upwards to where they would have gone without the dumping to reward users who held onto an undervalued coin
- A more compact view for the market page that doesn't show graphs, only price information and actions
- Password changing functionality
We hope to have this update out possibly by the end of the week or early next week at the latest. Please feel free to ask questions or make suggestions!

I'm poor and I like these changes.
Staying up late for adjustment is hell and this will make day trading more profitable and ensure I lose less on days where I make good-but-not-great calls but get fucked anyway.
