Spread where though? There's like four relevant countries out of like 28 that could serve as hubs for Spanish speaking chuubas, and two of those more or less economically imploded.

At that point you're better off just geting Spanish speaking ENs and stream from North America. They can cater some of the content to the demographic, and if it fails, they can simply fall back on being ENs.

There's a couple of problems or issues with the idea of native Latino Vtubers.
-Setting up shop is notoriously hard. Between the shitty infrastructure unless you're in the big cities, the ridiculous taxes and paperwork to start a formal business, the looming threat of narcos and other delinquents once they get a smell of someone making a decent profit, our own greed which would mean stealing the money or resources for streaming; it would be impressive to start an independent company.
-Our emotions get the best of us. The Japs are good at hiding their personal opinions or try to find a way to wind down if they're having a rough week, and also decent at getting hammered. Here, the girls would probably start talking in depth about their lives, political or social issues, and would wreck their equipment if they get drunk.
-Internet humor derives from the US and Europe, we're not coming up with unique ideas or humor. You'd be better off hiring girls who speak Spanish that lived in the US or Europe, and the humor or mindset would be more or less similar.

Not saying it's impossible, but so it would be interesting to see a company taking off here. Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia would be the big markets, probably.
