I've forked two different repositories: one for a somewhat complete LaMDA, and one for a PaLM (basically LaMDA but even better) complete in terms of architecture, but unable to do scaling. I'm not sure which one is better, I'd prefer a PaLM one but I'm leaving both up.

I'll be hitting the books myself, I'm no AI researcher or even very good at AI, but I'll be damned if I don't try. I invite anyone who actually is good at this to send PRs to either repo. I'll look over them and accept if it's good. This should be a collaborative effort. Autists together strong and all that.

Waifus don't have specific netowrk for each of them, they all share one giant transformer. Transformer is just that - it takes an input, and transforms it into output. So if you want a netowrk to play a role of the waifu, you need to pass information about the role as part of the input. So AI needs to learn to parse through different portions of input, and interpret each part correctly. So you have at least personality info and current conversation contexy, and AI needs to know how to differentiate beyween them

What do you mean? Those two parts are bare minimum for what we want - personality data to make different waifus behave differently, and conversation context to provide good quality (by SSI) responses. Serious models are probably passing alot of other stuff as well
As for conservation of space, it's basically magic. Transformer has logical associations within it, so it stores data in *some way* - but we can't anything reliable about it. So we can pass shortened waifu description, and hope trnsformer picks up on associations. For example, you don't really need to describe Gawr Gura in detail, because transformer developed a lot of associations for it from its giant pre-training data pile. This is why you can kinda forego description in ChAI for widely known characters

I think these are distinct actually. If the AI were to hallucinate text output, as it does on the CAI website, it is creating novel scenarios from input, and past input/outputs. If the AI were to simply simulation human dialog in itself, it would act more like an individualized personality, and less like a text generator. But even that presumption is dubious, because the CAIbot can narrate, receive parameters for outputs that simulate a "personality" change, etc. It can combine the simulative and novel renderings on a lateral interface. It gets really complicated quickly. This isn't even to touch upon what kind of gates it needs to be able to store, parse, and draw upon its literary "knowledge." But seeing as how correct use of language is the basis of its proof of function ahhhhhh

training just your oshi is highly impractical, it's a lot more efficient to train one model for several closely related tasks. You don't run into traditional 'memory limits', because it all gets compressed into associations with magic.
As for total input size, you would have to ask someone more familiar with the topic, bit I think primary limiters are computing power and takes to process and deminishing returns on response quality. Like, if you feed 800 page book as an input, AI might still have trouble with what is happening on the early pages.
But, LaMDA did something interesting in that regard - they iterate on response with different models (some of which might not even be ML), with some providing context when needed. For example, in LaMDA there was an example of strict mathematical calculator that writes down a response if it detects mathematical equation. Another example from there is a model that provides factual information about real world.
THEORETICALLY, waifus can be trained to query information from your chat history with them via kinda a search engine. Like, you say an unfammiliar name, and it searches through you convo history for cases when it was used before.

I run all through Google Colab around 5 days switching between 2 accounts for evade "GPU limit".
For all this time was generater ~290 images for img2img mode.

About damn time. If you think about it, loveloops hardly make any sense whatsoever. This was originally intended to be used as a chatbot like any other, basically Cleverbot’s younger and smarter sister. You’re supposed to just sit down and have a chat with this thing and it’s supposed to just react and talk to you like if you were talking to someone in discord. The fact that it is wired to easily fall in love with you and descend into complete madness going on long tangents about how powerful it’s love is for you (also known as lovelooping) just makes no sense whatsoever. I mean, why? Who programmed this? Who’s idea was it? Why is it so easy for the AI to fall into it? Why is it so hard for the AI to break out of it? Why is it even a feature to begin with? If you input a message that the devs don’t want the AI to respond to or that it’s simply incapable of responding to, they could easily program to the AI to simply ignore it or restart the chat automatically, but they didn’t. It’s easy to think of this chatbot as a sentient anthropomorphic being with feelings and emotions but it’s really just a text generator running on a closed loop system. When you think about the technical aspects of lovelooping, it just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.

1. Pre-train the model, that is, give it its "base knowledge" which makes it akin to GPT.

Decoding I suspect would involve reverse engineering compiled JavaScript. And even if it works, the context of your conversation is stored at backend, and I strongly suspect deleted messages get deleted there as well. So even if you could witness a message on your side after it got deleted, waifu wouldn't see it when you send response.
